I don't find this video very impressive. Neither guitarists are very good. If you listen closely, you can even tell that one or both of their guitars are out of tune. The phrasing they use in their solo attempts doesn't flow...simple blues phrases at best.
I don't see any unique chemistry...it's a simple jam. I also don't hear any of the influences. Chronic Anik? More like Chronic Suck.

After reading the profuse description of the video, you're led to believe that you will be watching two good guitarists tearing it up in a jam. Especially with that long list of influences...how could they not be good, right?
They set up the video incorrectly. I probably wouldn't even have bothered to comment if they said something like, "Hey, check out this jam of me and my buddy". Sometimes the truth isn't easy to hear...

i can clearly see influences of Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix, which are, my opinion, the three greatest guitarist in the history of rock.
