@LLegionary: It refers to the supply that he has at the time. So you would build a supply depot when you have 10 supply. Rought estimates, never follow directly as it will almost certainly be situational.

Ok but this works only if the zerg does attack. What if the zerg just sits back and chills? Their army wont be split and in that scenario, u will lose. How do you move out vs zerg?

@Joesterisk Then post a video of one phoenix with 9999999 kills because you have perfect micro then. A units counter should not need micro to win a fight, since they should be stronger than what they counter.

@RedNBlueAllOver7606 Try to stay away from saying "unit X counters unit Y". SC2 does not work like that. It's the unitcomposition and the amount of units that depends, but what is even more important, is your economy to be able to outproduce your opponent. As for early mutadefense: open Phoenix, pins the Zerg into his base with his mutas, because he never knows when your phoenixes could come back and drones or some queens up. Just make sure that you transition out of that and expand like crazy.

@RedNBlueAllOver7606 Im a protoss player, i used to really struggle against mutalisks, but now i've learnt by instinct to deal with mutalisk rush in two ways:

1) rush to stalkers with blink, keep them in your mineral line

2) get dark templars and send them in specifically to take out the spire. its easy for zerg to get invisible detection so you wont have much time to attack before they can defend themselves, hence i just go straight for the spire first, and any further damage is a bonus.

@elgoorf123 Or just get blinkstalkers and push really early if Zerg is opening with roaches (which is really common now). Micro like crazy to save damaged stalkers and zerg will gg even before they are able to get to muta tech.

Good example: Nazgul vs. IdrA at MLG Dallas.

Please could you do a video of how to defend against mass muta with protoss? I know blink stalker is good but it isn't really efficient because of how powerful mutas are, and the number of stalker needed.

I was a zerg player before i ran into thors. Now i play protoss. I love zerg, can some one tell me how to deal with a terran who gets an mm ball with thors as zerg because neural parasite just gets focus fired down, mutas get crushed by the marines, roaches by the maruders and thors, hydras have not enough health and lings are useless. Im so stuck!
