I've been pondering where did I hear this music. Now I know. Sometimes you hear a nice music and all of a sudden it surfaces again in your mind without remembering where and when did you hear it.
FADE IN: ... "Excuse me, can you tell me how to get to the medical school? I'm supposed to be doing a lecture in about twenty minutes and my driver's a bit lost."
New Line Cinema is now own by Warner Brothers Entertainment. But also still own by Time Warner. So it should have label under the New Line Cinema logo A Warner Brothers Entertainment Company back in 2004, but that's my opinion.
rush hour 1 & 2, friday, dumb and dumber, blow, teenage mutant ninja turtles, mortal kombat, money talks, american history x, harold and kumar 1 & 2, new line rocks!
@cherubenjezza You know how some things will bother you until you look them up or figure them out? Well, this was it for me -- I heard the opening chord to Madonna's "Vogue" and immediately thought of this intro... except I couldn't remember which film company used it! That led me here.
Michael Kamen didn't make this solely for New Line to use as a jingle, it's from a movie he composed for, Highlander. It's a great movie starring Sean Connery, and since Michael Kamen composed for it you can bet the music is outstanding. Check it out, yo.
reminds me of my childhood, even though this theme has nothing to do with my childhood, the first time i heard this was probably only a couple of years ago, but still, it gives me back memories of old school movies i dont know why

I Hate NEW LINE CINEMA!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're now my most hated movie company!! Those muther fuckers!! they should die, for what they've done to "Meg" (The book's) Those anoying shit bags!!!!! I'm never gonna watch a NEW LINE Cinema movie again!!!
new line cinema has nuthing 2 do with wat movie they distribute, it's actually the writer's fault. new line cinema just releases the movies, they don't write them.
are you kidding? they're the producers, they have everything to do with what they distribute! they choose whether or not they provide financial backing behind a film
That's because in the same year(2001), New Line Cinema came out with a new fanfare that considered a flute/choir jingle. This fanfare on here originally came out in 1994, just so both of you guys know.

This is a great intro but if you want to hear another epic tune here you go
It's a dark dramatic piano piece called Nocturnal
check it out on my channel.
I would appreciate it.
Thanks

@colormagicsky How is this related to the New Line Cinema logo? Did you actually create 15 accounts just in order to give this enough thumbs up?

bodingtons 2 years ago 3
The music is not from a particular movie. The New Line Cinema fanfare was composed by the late Michael Kamen.
bearfedway 2 years ago 3
I think this intro was taken from Take The Lead - 2006?
GhettoKarter1992 2 years ago
Nope- because it says "an AOL Time Warner Company". That only lasted from 2001-2003.
