  • The mask

  • Why does this scare me

  • I've been pondering where did I hear this music. Now I know. Sometimes you hear a nice music and all of a sudden it surfaces again in your mind without remembering where and when did you hear it.

  • MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!

  • 360 is NOT HD mate

  • Elf: )

  • i always hear 'you can do it put your ass in to it' after the intro. what movie was that. FUUUU

  • Where's the popcorn?

  • Mortal Kombat

  • FADE IN: ... "Excuse me, can you tell me how to get to the medical school? I'm supposed to be doing a lecture in about twenty minutes and my driver's a bit lost."

  • I don't know if i should be asking you this, but seen as this is your video, can we use this: you will be in the credits for my movie.

  • @colormagicsky How is this related to the New Line Cinema logo? Did you actually create 15 accounts just in order to give this enough thumbs up?

  • Have you really created 15 accounts just to give your comment 15 thumbs up? How does this have anything to do with the New Line Cinema logo?

  • The fucking Mask wasn't part of this fucking movie company, but Dumb and Dumber fucking was!!!!!!!

  • this is also on Elf, but with snowflakes starting at 0:09

  • New Line Cinema is now own by Warner Brothers Entertainment. But also still own by Time Warner. So it should have label under the New Line Cinema logo A Warner Brothers Entertainment Company back in 2004, but that's my opinion.

  • SE7EN

  • what chord is that at 0:09?

    i'm thinking F2/A? ish...

  • @cherubenjezza You know how some things will bother you until you look them up or figure them out? Well, this was it for me -- I heard the opening chord to Madonna's "Vogue" and immediately thought of this intro... except I couldn't remember which film company used it! That led me here.

...still don't know what chord it is though! LOL

  • @Abyssery

    haha just the same ^^

  • Mortal Kombat

  • yeah Dude!!

  • The Mask and Dumb & Dumber

  • ninja turtles

  • It sounds really warming and good!

  • Hey how strict are the New Line Cinema copyrights? I mean, do they remove their movies from youtube much, or no?

  • Michael Kamen didn't make this solely for New Line to use as a jingle, it's from a movie he composed for, Highlander. It's a great movie starring Sean Connery, and since Michael Kamen composed for it you can bet the music is outstanding. Check it out, yo.

  • I love the music for this intro, anyone know what soundtrack it's taken from?

  • The music is not from a particular movie. The New Line Cinema fanfare was composed by the late Michael Kamen.

  • I think this intro was taken from Take The Lead - 2006?

  • Nope- because it says "an AOL Time Warner Company". That only lasted from 2001-2003.

  • reminds me of my childhood, even though this theme has nothing to do with my childhood, the first time i heard this was probably only a couple of years ago, but still, it gives me back memories of old school movies i dont know why

  • i love them i'm gonna work for them when i grow up

  • thats gonna be difficult since they folded and is now a part of warner brothers.

  • i try my best

  • this company maked Freddy Krueger!!!!!!!!!!!

  • not even lord of the rings?

  • new line cinema has nuthing 2 do with wat movie they distribute, it's actually the writer's fault. new line cinema just releases the movies, they don't write them.

  • are you kidding? they're the producers, they have everything to do with what they distribute! they choose whether or not they provide financial backing behind a film

  • No, no! They did, and it was the company who stoped trying to make it.

  • This was used on the DVD release of The Mask!

  • Rush Hour 1,2 and 3 got this fanfare or almost the same, rite?

  • Rush Hour 2!

  • Actually anikid0932 the fanfare of Rush Hour 2 is different than this fanfare!

  • That's because in the same year(2001), New Line Cinema came out with a new fanfare that considered a flute/choir jingle. This fanfare on here originally came out in 1994, just so both of you guys know.

  • And knowing is half the battle.
