  • There's a bacteria eating away at the ship so It's got some time left for staying on the ocean floor

  • I love this...absolutely love it. It made me cry(:

  • Looks like the Black pearl But a ALOT mooree SPOOKY!!

  • this song was played at my great grandpas funeral and i completely lost it

  • I wish there were trips available togo down & see and be able to pay respects although Im sure the cost would be astronomicle...just a thought. Thanks for a touching video the music always moves me to tears.

  • this is such tragic story... but how amazing were these ships back then unlike these nasty space ships we got floating around now (cruise ships). the beauty these steam ships were i am so fascinated of how they worked and looked i wish i was born around this time to have seen these amazing ships in there glory...

  • WAS THAT A SKELETON?

  • wow beautiful

  • If the Titanic wasn't going to make hard starboard (that was left back in 1912) but took a full direct hit (hit the iceberg full at the front side of the ship), she would probably survive.

I do not have enough space to explane all the information, but just go to your local library and go read information books of Titanic.

It amazes me every time, and Titanic will always amazes me for the rest of my live.

PS: If I was a multi multi billionaire, I would rebuild her EXACT like she was then.

  • Then and Now is a sad song. I need a moment

  • great great great video

  • The bronze propellers will forever remain intact, as will any china RMS Titanic carried on her.

She will eventually become to structurally weak to support her own weight as microbioloical organisms are eating away her famous Iron.

she won't be recognisable in another 100 years, Historians will only have left what they have retrieved.

  • it does not look crapy

  • in the beginning of this video this looks like the olympic (titanic's sister) because i noticed how the promenade deck is all the way opened while on the titanic it was olny opened half-way toward the end of the ship

  • @lihharusan The covered promenade deck was a last minute change and was completed only at the end of construction.

  • One of the survivors said claiming unsinkable flew in the face of god.

Leave her alone,it went thru enough pain as is both the ship and souls lost.

  • the Titanic is my favorite historical event i was sad about how it sank but i like the idea that in 2004 once they collected some artifacts that they put two metal plates on the ship to show that no one shall disturb steel or bother the ship and let it rest in peace

  • its so sad that a lot of nice people died in the titanic it looks so nice it just makes me want to cry

  • she's something like 3 miles deep. some depth of water

  • isnt there any plan to rescue the ship and preserve it OUTSIDE the ocean? i knew the parts are probably very rusted and weak cos of contamination and all but itd suck if this wreaked ship eventually crumbles. its nice to actually keep it in a big museum where future generation like me could see it face to face.

  • @wimbletone Actually, most people consider Titanic a grave site and a memorial, so they want to disturb the structure as little as possible and let it rest in peace.

  • @AspireAS5920 i do agree but its just that i know we must pay respect to the place itself and the people who died there but i guess if those people were alive, theyd also vote to have the thing preserved. it might be a tragic happening but its a pieace of history. my point was and is, it would be ncie to preserve a history right there. but i totally get your point mate. its kind of a tricky thing to think about to be honest :)

  • @AspireAS5920

you mean let it rust in peace.

    R.I.P.

  • @wimbletone the realy truth to why they want rescue it is that if they tryed to pulled it up she would break and crack also the ship is far to big

  • @wimbletone numerous ppl have tried petitions to get it out of the water honestly i believe it would be nice to get it out of the water but lets face it the ship has been on the bottom of the ocean floor for almost 100 years and most likely would break on the way to the surface so i say no they shouldnt try it but if you are intrested a man named joseph ricker wants to make an exact replica ship of titanic and let it actually sail you can check it out at sstitan.org very intresting stuff there

  • @wimbletone and they did take a part from it dont no if it is in a museum tho

  • @wimbletone i agree they should at least preserve a small piece of the titanic

  • @wimbletone technically the shit was to massive and way to old to touch thats why no one has bothered theres no point of disterbing the peace of those who died in it thats like asking for 50,000 skelotines from the dead to come back and kill us such as the band they played while the ship was going down and some died by the propeller i wouldnt want some disterbing my resting place

  • Shouldn't the collecting of artifacts from the Titanic site be considered a desecration? I mean this is a gravesite is it not?

  • @kingmackattack42

It should be strickly illegal if you ask me, It's a horrible spit in the face to the survivors and those who died, The wreck should be left in peace, sure people want to remember the story, but leaving Titanic as it is is alot more meaningful

  • Most footage that is titanic is that of the sister ship olympic

  • No, it´s the Titanic. The footage shows when she is approaching the Thompson Drydock, in wich she was fitted with the glass for the A-deck promonade deck. This was done just a few weeks before sailing.

  • Note that the funnels aren't painted yet either.

  • yep, they did that in the drydock too. :)

The first of Olympics funnels that were painted was the second one, do you know why? (I don´t)

  • yep

  • The Ship at the beginning looks like Olympic....

  • That is not surprising. The Olympic, Titanic, and the Britannic were all sister ships owned by the White Star Line. They had almost identical blueprints, with a few minor modifications.

  • @AspireAS5920 they should leave it be its a memorial grave site

  • @NoOida the olimpic was the titanics twin they were built in the same place and look the same
