the same red bug keeps reappearing..... the mustang takes on major front end crunches in the beginning but no damage.flight of the cars is far too high to not lose suspension. is this supposed to be an omage or a rip off?

There's a green bug that keeps reappearing on the real movie. The Mustang gets lots of suspension damage on the movie, but they didn't showed it as well... also, you know that's just a Driver game right?

The reason why Bullitt is memorable for it's car chases/cars is because of both Steve McQueen and the events that happen in the movie. This is just a car chase with the same model cars used in the film with nothing going on. I appreciate the effort to try and get the feeling of the original film but that is a classic. Without any character progression, it's just a car chase. A long drawn out one at that because we don't care who's in it.
