Even though it's all Electro Synth Dub Step Pop now.

I grew up listening to Alice Cooper, all the way from Raise your fist and yell. My favorite song is Poison and my kids had to listen to it so many times that they finally adopt it and liked it. At the beginnig they were affraid of Alice and they even thought he was a girl! I can't wait to play this song for them because they like Ke$dha too! Only Alice Cooper could merge two eras. The best, in my opinion are the lyrics, classic Cooper.

I was very surprised, and I almost lost hope for the record for that sole reason, but then I heard the preview and was relieved. This album is a masterpiece. I've been playing it on constant repeat since Saturday. He's brought back the piano, the orchestration, the choir, the brass, and the remaining 3/4 of the original Alice Cooper Band :-)

I found a link to an Alice Cooper song I've never of and it made me wonder what he's been recording lately. Went to an online CD store and found out about Welcome 2 My Nightmare and it mentioned Ke$ha on a song.

The definition of close minded is "Intolerant of the beliefs and opinions of others; stubbornly un-receptive to new ideas." Which is what you are, since you cannot accept the beliefs and opinions others have of pop music. It's fine if you don't hear pop the way many people do, that's not your fault. But it is your choice to disrespect it, and the people who listen to it.

@FeinaMusic It's not closed minded. Like I said, I tried to listen to everything else. I only like Metal, Rock and Classical. So therefore I can't be closed minded. I also base my opinion for music on how I see the listeners act. Most people that like Pop and Rap are trashy. From what I've seen. And since you're clearly bothered by my approach on this genre then just ignore me.

@DeathToYourGod10988 It's close minded to assume that everyone is a stereotype. That'd be just as bad as me assuming that everyone who listens to metal likes death and violence. That is metal's stereotype, but that doesn't mean everyone who listens to it is that way. It's not close minded to dislike things, it's close minded to disrespect things that you dislike, and the people who like them. If you liked pop, you would not disrespect it. The only reason you do, is because you dislike it.

If you can't tolerate things you dislike and the people who like those things, you are being exactly that definition. When you go around disrespecting things like other genres of music, that is being intolerant of the beliefs and opinions of others. You don't have to like something to be tolerant of it.

Actuallt my obsession with death runs deeper than what you might think. And viloence, well that's our most primal nature. Which shouldn't be ignored.
