Ok, Im Crying Now, I remember when i was a little kid, and asking my dad about all the things manute did, from the nba, to helping his country!!!, One Of A Kind Human Being, We Miss You Manute, And Sudan WIll Always Love You!!!
Rest in peace to a man bent on peace and safety for the weak and helpless. God gave you an opportunity to do the world good, and you did not fail him. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and the people of your homeland.
the only thing I can think of is it's a shame this didn't happen two days ago...he certainly would've gotten quite a tribute on national TV during the Lakers Celtics final game.
the only african player who helped his country!his life and his charity should be a model for all african-americans NBA players.wake up and help your homelands.help the poor and weakness Africa!
A man whose tremendous length will be known only to be exceeded by the tremendous lengths he went to in extending his noble generosity to his countrymen.A real hero will be missed....
Yeah, god bless the man! Honestly what a cool guy. In an era of selfishness within the nba, where you see, people just having their "foundations" for show, for good publicity. This man actually pretty much gave away his whole fortune!!!
you know i feel sorry for this guy... coule you imagine how ppl would look at someone that big i would put my self in qaurentine just because of insult from critics and i hope he's livin it up right now...he is by far deserving
Manute looks like he has Marfan's syndrome from his proportions; all arms and legs and as skinny as stick figure literally. But he's quite noble for having to donate all his wealth and hardily enjoying any of it. What a truely benevolent skinny man!
@supersmash43 I think it's definitely a Marfan syndrome case. It seems that the saving diagnosis was not made for this poor guy, because lately the medical and surgical treatment have been optimized, so that the life expectancy is approximately aligned with the general population.
@supersmash43 He seems like he does, but no reports ever said he did. I talked to a friend of a friend who is from Sudan, while he isn't quite past 6'7", he is also quite a lean guy.
I think manute is the 1 of the greatest basketbll players ever not only because he got atleats 4 to 7 blocks a game the man gave up all his money to help his people out in africa. He cloudve just said "ah @*^& it".
But he didnt he dicide to helop his ppl out and stand strong for whats right
its sad that he had that terrible accident. The cab driver didnt deserve to die but it was a bad dicison for him to drink and drive he couldve killed manute!
Manute is a hero. The testimony of his teammates like Mitch, Tim, Chris, Rodd, and Coach Don are proof that Manute is a great man. So many NBA fools spend their money on trinkets and toys...meanwhile Manute gave everything of himself for others. A true hero.
I understand he gave alot of money to his country but his financial manager should have been investing a part of his earnings so bol's future would be secured financialy for the rest of his life. WHAT THE HELL WAS THE F.MANAGER DOING, that's sad. AT LEAST HE'S ALIVE AND I COMMAND MANUTE'S DEDICATION TO HIS COUNTRY, THAT'S LOVE.
R.I.P Manute Bol
