@magicmonkichi After this competition she had a short career performing lead roles in Italian theatres including La Scala. I think she decided for family life. Good for her and a shame for all her fans. She would have been one of the all time greats for sure.

@emilytransex Reste courtois,et ne m'apprends pas le chant je te prie,tu as encore fort à faire pour arriver à ce niveau.Du reste,je pense qu'elle apprécierait mieux mes critiques que tes louanges.

Tu as un peu de sensibilité,mais ton métier est insuffisant pour juger la pertinence de mon écoute.

En outre j'ai bien entendu que cette instabilité était due en partie au trac.Dans ma bouche,belle voix est un compliment rare!Elle est désormais sur ma chaîne .Si tu en connais d'autres,n'hésite pas!

I just love this woman, still puzzled wy she did not win this competition and Maria Dragoni did.  Also terrible loss to the opera world that she decided to retire early. Imagine what wonderful singer we would have had taking all the big Donizetti, Rossini, Bellini roles after the dimise of Caballe, Gencer etc
