Most definitely one of the best female voices I have ever heard. She was great in "Annie", but I loved her the most in the movie "Rainbow". Her rendition of "Stormy Weather", "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", & "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" will forever be one of the best performances ever!

I've talked to several people from the cast of the original production and to a person they said she was a joy to work with, just a regular kid who liked pinball and skateboarding, would walk on stage and turn on the juice. no mention of her being a brat. but she was outspoken and a little tomboy so maybe that was misinterpreted as "brat".

On stage, in a big musical, you play to last row of the theater, which means mannerisms that might look exaggerated or too big if a camera zooms in close.
