Alison's dress really was hideous... I mean, a couple of prints, zebra stripes, and huge pink sleeves. It was just shocking.

I don't know what Alison was thinking with that dress....I was thinking that it might have been better for them to eliminate Brent tho because he cannot construct a garment. Even though he has good ideas, ideas will only take you so far. But i'm actually interested to see what he will create in the next episode. i dont like how they copy all the sayings from the original project runway. and the mentor on this show is really annoying and creepy. in project runway canada they had their own style for the show so to speak, and the mentor was really great.

Well, not everyone would agree that was tacky. Just because a few judges agreed upon it isn't really what people who are also 21 as she is would agree upon, fashion goes in cirlces, what may have been matronly/tacky tourist could be the new young. There really isn't a definition. ^_^ In my opinion, the ones they judged as the worst (excluding the lapeled mistake) were the youngest out of the bunch and the most creative...the velvet thing was the most hideous. Want to talk about old, velvet is...

I didn't get shane's dress either though, and why they were raving about it. I thought it'd have a low score, it was so blah.

What are you smoking? lol. They're currently both as good as one another. NOT! If you want my personal opinion, the American version will always be the most vibrant. ;) It's been the most vibrant way before the Austrailian version ever troddened along. haha. I will admit that it is different and fresh to see a different world perspective on fashion, but it's definitely too new to tell whether it could be better, it's at too new of a production stage to be as good. Each runway show has its pros.

I really liked Petrova's design- it was cute, and really pretty.

I think they made the right decision getting rid of Alison. Personally, I find her sense of style a bit too much... I'm a believer in the "less is more" theory.

They sent the right person home, no doubt. Ugly dress. (The outfit she had on herself suggested that the dress was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of bad taste and zero style.) I don't understand why a fashion student should be competing on Project Runway anyway. Being a student means learning to develop the skills and style to become a designer. If you already have those skills don't go to school. If you don't, then stay off of Project Runway.

all the fabrics used in ALL THE GARMENTS weren't nice, but they had them already picked for them so in a way alisons garment wasan't that bad. at least she finished her garment and at least it was well made unlike many of the others. did anyone notice orin's dress looked like it was about to fall apart as well as brents.
