A very traditional sound.. I feel like dancing.. It seemed to me in the beginning of the piece there was a sence of control of the music. Then it seemed to have more movement which I enjoyed.
hi i own a santur and my dad used to play ( we are persian) and id like to learn how to play and i think that would make him really happy on his birthday
Hey my brothers, Peyman and Pooyan, I am sitting home sick tonight and heard this amazing piece of music. I love this scale..........so beautiful. What is the name of the rhythm...........I'm off to learn how to play it on my tonbak as we speak.
These santur and tonbak players are extremely gifted. This piece is mesmerizing, especially when complemented by talented musicians such as these guys.
These guys are great artist's. I used the parts between 7:00 and 9:00 as an example of persian traditional music for an oral presintation in my music of the worlds cultures class for college.

@SuperhumanChichi There is a very good reason this song seems familiar, regardless as to whether one has heard it before or not.
