There Are guitar players that are as good as Michael Schenker, but nobody plays guitar like Michael. When you hear Michael play, you know that it is him. He has influenced a large amount of todays shredders.

Yes, thanks for posting this. (I was there too - how did you get so close?!?!) The singer was Leif Sundin (ex-MSG, Great King Rat, Johansson Bros. etc.) and the bassist (very friendly guy, btw) ex-Snakes In Paradise. Not sure of the drummer or keyboard player. Knaresborough is so small, it will never see the like of such an event again, so I feel blessed I witnessed it!

I was at the Swansea show on 11th, and got to see a shortened version of this solo before Michael left the building without playing an encore. We were all really gutted at the time, but what a fantastic show up to that point, hope he tours the UK with the new MSG line up.

Thanks for the post already!!! Great gig and the band was tight as a ducks ....!! Anyone know the background of the musicians? Drummer and bass player put a real solid backing down, the bass player looks very, very familier. On the down side, pity Barden is in the main line up to come, Phillips, Airey and Murray conversely, are class.
