  • Can you imagine? Everybody walking around with no cell phones. Nobody in public diddling away on some goddam shiny gadget. Must've been heaven.

  • New York is now filled with yuppie starbucks Woody Allen crybabies. New York in the 90's and 80's had a lot more character.

  • I wish it had sound. There's nothing like the noise of NYC.

  • @SATANSAMIGO 90's new york in general for the win, i am bummed i'll never see the real time square with all the porn shops, hooker, pimps now it's fucking disney mtv and naked cowboy like wtf

  • I love this.nyc appreciation.

  • The 1990s in NYC was so much better back then. It was so much affordable back then and jobs were more available. Now the whole city is going to shit and with the wall street protests going on currently, it is all going to fall apart eventually.

  • reminds me of big daddy and hey arnold

  • Thank U very much for the video.

Sometimes I feel sad when I watch NYC cause I remember 9 11 always and I can't forget it at all.

I don't know how could I do something for this tragedy but I want to in peaceful way.

    Thanks.

  • In the 90's, when I begin to have my world view, of course when I was a kid. That was "modern day" back then. Everything was completely normal. Then, when the 2000's came, I started notice differences. I wasn't really old, but everything felt different. Only basically last 1,5 year I have really understood those differences. First of course, it was the cars, then I noticed commercials, movies, music, fashion, technology, tv shows, toys, video games, guns etc.

  • haha the bus at 4:36

  • ahhh the time when everyone looked normal and not a single hipster in sight

  • it looks pretty much the same but the cars look a lot diffrenet

  • @KlarinetUK yes, the early `1990s were the "beginning of today" as I say

  • even though new york was a steaming terd in the 70s-90s, it was a steaming terd with character. i hate whats happened to it these days

  • with the economy the way it is, ny might look pretty dingy again

  • The 1980s was the begining of big changes to come for the Big apple.

  • 70s and 80s were better though.
