he was going fast under a 120mph but well over 50 mph. he caused the first car he hit to spin around. his body hit a white car causing his momentum to stop and his body to spin clockwise. I bet after his adrenalin wore off he felt pain for a couple of weeks...was he racing and looking in is rear view mirror not realizing he was coming up on an intersection...too bad there was no sound to the video.. most people go into shock when they see and hear a collision not involving them.
The outcome would be different had he hit the bus instead. I feel he was traveling at least 600 mph. If he were traveling 60 mph. there would be no debris.

He didn't run the red light - he missed it. Probably doing ~120 kph, distracted, didn't realize he is too close to the intersection until it finally jumped at him. Judging by the results, he hit the car with about 50, as someone has calculated, that is how much he was able to slow down. If it was 220kph, parts of him and the bike would have been flying up to 60-70 meters ahead, sometimes even more.

He didn't run the red light - he missed it. Probably doing ~120 kph, distracted, didn't realize he is too close to the intersection until it finally jumped at him. Judging by the results, he hit the car with about 50, as someone has calculated, that is how much he was able to slow down. If it was 220kph, parts of him and the bike would have been flying up to 60-70 meters ahead, sometimes even more.
I'm in awe how people just stand and look around instead of helping the guy

From the time he first comes into view until the time he hits that back of the car took at least 2 seconds going off the service station time lapse camera.
Looks to be at the most 30 meters distance travelled.... sooo
54 kilometre/hour = 15 meter/second
If it was 30 meters he travelled in 2 seconds from time of first view to impact he would be lucky to have been doing 65k tops........

@ShmeareD Also have to consider if he was traveling that fast during impact his body would still be going roughly the same speed(knees might hit handle bars or mirrors) and would have gone much further down the asphalt. This guy wasn't going that fast but easily could have died, can't believe he walked away!!!
