Yeah, Subtleblades is right, death n roll is a mixture of death metal and hard rock or "lightweight" rock genres. Was pioneered by Entombed on their 3rd album in 1993. Swansong is the only Carcass death n roll album, but only their first two albums goregrind. The album is also melodeath and even groove metal (which is Pantera/Machine Head style if you didn't kno).

Rot n roll is just a Carcass song, not a genre.
