Gracias Kraustrujillo. No sé si te ocurre lo mismo pero escuchar a Kraus para mí es como amar. Si lo haces de verdad, intensamente, jamás podrás acostumbrarte a estar con alguien solo por cariño o interés, con él me sucede algo similar, después de escuchar su maestria en el canto, técnica, interpretación y el torrente de sentimientos que acompañan a sus versiones, es muy difícil escuchar a otros tenores. Gracias nuevamente por todas las piezas que nos dejas aquí y recibe un saludo.

Acabo de escuchar a Pavarotti en una presentación de 1969, creo, y tuvo unos serios problemas con el do agudo. Sigo sin saber porque Pavarotti es el rey...

escuchar algo tan bellamente cantado y a la vez en estilo es tan raro hoy en dia, Nadie duda que cantando el repertorio lirico-ligero no hay un tenor que se acerque al gran Kraus. es por esto que cuando alguien sugiere que florez es mejor que Kraus me dan calambres por todo el cuerpo. desde el 56 cuando Kraus canto por primera vez profesionalmente mostró algo que cantantes, aunque canten por 30 años, jamas lograran obtener, clase y el poner las emociones donde van, en la voz

I experienced Kraus in I Puritani several times. He owned this role for thirty years.

Exquisite line - breath control, phrasing, and forward movement. He was one of a kind - a supremely great singer.
