yeah i was wondering the same i when too nasa shoho archieves and i typed it the date from 18 too 22 and i only got like 5 frames tahst shit is wierd ! maybe it got damaged from the CME and the x2.2 flare from the 15/feb ?? maybe it cousing it ?? what you guys think about this wierd anomalys ? IMHO the digital editing is done by calculating distances. The outside ring shows everything, the middle shows everything up to a specified distance behind the object and removes everything past that point. The center circle removes the object and everything behind it and only shows the things between us and the object.
@Pistol76 - You can see what its supposed to look like at the very beginning of this video, compare that with the ending and you can tell how badly it is malfunctioning...
@BeePeeOilDisaster Thanks, and your right, I don't know much about Lasco C3, I was just expressing my opinion from what I see in the image. When you discover what the problem is let us know.
This is just a guess but I would say that the outer "Whitish" part of the image is showing everything, both in front of the object and behind the object. As you move into the blue middle area the image is just showing all of the things that are between us and object that they are tracking, everything else has been digitally removed. The very inside circle has digitally removed the object itself so that all that you can see is its auroral area, as well as the other objects between us.
@Pistol76 - Obviously you are unfamiliar with the way SOHO telescopes work... I am not saying that as a personal afront to you I am only saying that to let you know its not supposed to look anything like this. Look at other videos of SOHO Lasco C3 and you will see what its supposed to look like than you will see how badly malfunctioned this is...
Well it doesn't "look" as if it was facing earth's direction, but that was a massive eruption that lasted what looked like a long time period before being completely done. After the break, someone was right the dot disappeared. I can see a lot of debris flying everywhere. Not sure what to make of the rings, whether it is due to the satellite or if that is actual space energy. Anyway you look at it the next couple of days should be interesting. I'm as prepared as I can be.
wtf is the dot with the line through it. it moves, but the line stays relatively the same orientation. I think you got it in some of your other vids as well.
@g0sth4ck3d - Those are planets mercury and Venus and the black line is the shadow from the post holding the middle disc, the camera is 1 million miles from earth and the sun is 92 million miles past that... The white circle on the disc (missing) represents the size of the sun, the disc blocks the brightness as to not burn the lens from the camera and its makes it possible to take pictures that we can see...
Thank you for putting this together BeePee. I noticed this last night myself and placed an alert about 'technical problems' with the lasco 3 on Soho. They are definitely covering something up. I was just looking at the sky-map. o r g and looking at Orion's belt and I notice a huge star under the center orion's belt star and there seems to be some satellite to the left of it. I don't recall seeing this two months ago. I also notice at sunset, the sky is pretty bright for a while after.
@MarsBar2012 - It was turned off for more than a day...I have no idea what is going on around the edges and the white circle is gone from the disc in the middle... I do not think they have them all pointed at the sun, I think they are watching other planets or objects...
@BeePeeOilDisaster Well, if they have this particular one, pointing at that 'second sun' it may already be viewed at other locations on our Earth, like the middle east, for example, thus the riots. Check out this video at point 1:52. You see a light source, then the camera pans left and you see the sun over a building. Both the light source and the sun have the same colors/watch?v=Qt3O2M03T8c This may be the reason for all the unrest at the 30 degree latitude. (con't)

@BeePeeOilDisaster Because of the seasons/earth tilt we don't see it here, but probably will once spring comes which is next month and this may explain all the 'preparations' and things we've been hearing and reading. I believe information is being censored about what's really going on in the middle east. Look at Stereo's CO2 behind, it looks really bright and that object behind the filter is almost bursting out. This of course is on the latest images.
