Throughout the early 1980's we used to take this out from the library on 16mm film reels and project it on our living room wall. Waited for ages to see it again, thank you for posting!
@eshakunamatata FYI, this film is not French, it's Canadian. You evidently did not read the description, nor the film's credits : "National Film Board of Canada"
I had a recording of this on betamax growing up, and my whole family loved it. And the quality of this video is really impressive. Thank you so much for posting this!
I remember having a tape that was a compilation of different claymations, including this one, does anyone know the name of that tape??

Same here, and that was about 8 years ago for me. I was on a flight from Bangkok to Los Angeles and they happened to show this short film . :)
