because of gooberment stupidy, these properties are going rot and fall down. You can thank Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (socialized banking) for this. Turn these properties into "homestead" land and see how fast they get occupied and finished.
rediculous waste of space, random sprawl like this must be put to a stop, this should have been preserved as open space such as a community nature area or park.
@weacoo7 Hell, people wanna blame politicians for the problems of our country, but you've just figured out the real issue. TOO MUCH SHIT IS BEING BUILT. Half the dead malls with videos on Youtube got shut down because everyone went to a newer mall build down the road, and even while people have trouble buying homes, people kept building them. What did people think was GOING to happen? Supply and demand, it's as old as time itself.
Wow what a waste of labor and materials. Do you know how many homeless veterans you could fit inside that house. There are a ton of positive things that can be done with abandoned houses but the second you do something some dumb ass cop comes over and tells you your breaking the law. Its funny how they protect the banks who are the cause of crime getting worse. People should take back abandoned homes its better then them going to waste just rotting or bringing down the outlook of the community.
Thanks for posting. This is the 4th I've seen on you tube...main stream media doesn't talk about this much...kind of scary in terms of how bad the economy could get. Is this development still in the same condition?
Yeah, I don't think this is where I've been, but there are just LOADS of abandoned areas where kids have smashed in the windows, beer cans, the grass and foliage overgrown. Pretty scary late at night, hahahaha, it's an adventure for a lot, but just a really bad economy for most.
What a gross display of space, let alone being wasted too.
Some people just love cleaning up exercises in America. Helps to get their fat off, which is all good.

Wow, a house like that, sitting empty, makes mine look like a shack. Why couldn't they be sold at cost, or even auction, rather sit empty..

What a shame that a beautiful home like that is left vacant.

@weacoo7, I also hate it when farmland is torn up for development.
