I hope the people aren't just "amening" him because of who it is saying it. saints need to stop getting caught up in the emotion of church and sit down and really listen to what he's saying

Its fine and well to hear these two men of God admonish other preachers and prophets . We all however need to walk in discernment , grace and wisdom. Pastor Kirk was dealing with pornography and Ps Donnie was delivered from homosexuality. Its a bit tough to swallow them on this high horse as true and as valid as the points they raise may be. We all need to watch our own walks with vigilance lest we trip into sin and destruction while wagging our fingers at others. In peace

We must become educated in things that are related to getting a job, building our communities, and improving our lives. If you are getting A's in school, you relate to people well, and you are developing ways of building your community, then you are doing things that are good. Start to use it so that you may prosper, as well.
I agree. We like to hear what is sweet to our ears and that's great! But THE BIBLE also says that we will be chastised by God. We have to be ready to hear what God has to say even if we don't like it. If its the truth. Accept it, pray, fast, and change. I'm not perfect. I think Kirk is a great example of realizing that you are wrong and trying to change instead of thinking its okay because no one knows.

There's violence in the Muslim world, but they fight with nonmuslims. Christians fight each other. The church is becoming spiritually corrupt. The thing what is written it reads" judge not unless ye be judged." In other words if you are lost in the thing you are trying to correct not prevent of others then you are a condemned. There are times when you are fighting a sin and try to prevent others from being lost in that sin, that is a warning to not be deceived.

I can tell that sometimes he is in and out, but I think the best remedy is prayer, especially if we understand how harmful his actions are to the other saints. But when you speak truth and walk in disobedience it sends a message to non-believers that the wrong wrong activity is acceptable to God and people find no need to repent. James 1:22 says to be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only. Again I'm not saying I am better than Kirk. But his fruit does not line up with his words. Jesus said we shall know them by their fruit. public sin destroys your witness.

@ivorylee99 - We are on the same page more than you know. Think about this, you can't know if someone if someone gets off track unless you judge the fruit of their actions. The bible does not say not to judge at all, but Christians should not judge hypocritically. Take 1 John 4:1 for example which says Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. This plainly tells you to judge if something is right.
Say that Mr. Franklin.......whether you feel like his is living what he preach, HE IS PREACHING THE TRUTH. He may even be preaching to himself. He who is without sin, cast the first stone.

People want to always scream you can't judge this or that. We have to understand the difference between judging and teaching the word. Saying what's in the bible is not judging, it's telling you what God is saying. Judging is putting people down for their actions.
@heyq21 God bless you richly, it seems the only Bible passage most folks know is "Judge not that you may not be judged", no surprise its so often misquoted. Itching ears that St Paul talks about in 2 Tim 4:3. I'm totally out against a "holier than thou" attitude, but when you know you're doing wrong & decide to call correction "judging", remember God's final judging'll be much worse than men's correction. While I don't know too much of Kirk Franklin's controversies, what he's saying her is SPOT ON! But what he's saying here contradicts and goes against all the prosperity preachers and worshippers. Notice that Donnie and the audience are very quiet near the end. They weren't hoopin and hollaring like they were at the beginning. Either they were feeling convicted, or they weren't agreeing with Kirk. Play this against all the TBN Praise-a-thon, Benny Hinn crap, and it's completely opposite!
kirk does have alot of issues, but in this one little moment in his life right here, he is speaking 100% truth. truth is truth, no matter who says it. all he needs to do is practice what he's saying. it also seems as if donnie wasn't as moved by what he was saying so...
No one that walks the face of this earth is perfect && no one can pass judgement on another human being. It is so easy to condemn someone else without looking at ourselves first. I will pray for him instead of judging him. Because the last time I checked the Bible also speaks on Judging others. Matthew 7: 1-5 && Romans 2:1-3.
@rhamaiah I hear what you are saying about judging others. We are not to judge hypocritically but we are supposed to judge people by their fruit. This is how we know if someone is of God or not. I agree with you that we should not condemn the brother. At the same time it was by judging his fruit that brought you to the place where you feel you should pray for him. I believe there is a difference between hypocritically judging someone and being a fruit inspector.

God can use whomever he chooses, I believe that even you may have been 'judged' for something that someone saw or heard you say but did not understand you or know you. The word does say that you will know them by their fruit. If you look at the fruit that someone bears and it does not line up with the word, in a sense you do have to judge someone by their fruit. When someone does things in the public or media and it doesn't match up with what they preach. You judge their fruit.

I feel like we shouldn't deal with the messenger. Matthew 7 tells us not to judge, we leave God to deal with that, but that message he gave was a now word. God can use anyone he choose to get his word throught. People are seeking out God's word in these last days. I don't know about anyone else but that is what I am after, and If this WORDS linesup with the HOLY WORD, I received the word that God has for his people.

Its fine and well to hear these two men of God admonish other preachers and prophets . We all however need to walk in discernment , grace and wisdom. Pastor Kirk was dealing with pornography and Ps Donnie was delivered from homosexuality. Its a bit tough to swallow them on this high horse as true and as valid as the points they raise may be. I agree. We like to hear what is sweet to our ears and that's great! But THE BIBLE also says that we will be chastised by God. @ADAMOLOGY why are you assuming evil that same Bible you says Love hold no account of Evil and better still it says who are you to judge another man's servant. We are to point out wrong and meet needs when we are confronted with them not condemn. The Holy Ghost is our convictor it is not for us to do, who are we but servants. Jesus said we to will surely perish like all others who were punished by God if we do not repent, and Jesus did not come to condemn but to save and we should follow suit

@ADAMOLOGY I would say that his confession/repentance was done to the media because there are people all over the world who are dealing with the same things.
His repentance is between him and God.
I may have an addiction to something myself, but I tend to share because i can help someone get out of the same thing. Im sure there are many people in the world who are ashamed of their sins. I commend Kirk for telling the world. Its takes courage to let everyone know your private wring doings

The thing what is written it reads" judge not unless ye be judged." In other words if you are lost in the thing you are trying to correct not prevent of others then you are a condemned. There are times when you are fighting a sin and try to prevent others from being lost in that sin, that is a warning to not be deceived.

But when you speak truth and walk in disobedience it sends a message to non-believers that the wrong wrong activity is acceptable to God and people find no need to repent. James 1:22 says to be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only. Again I'm not saying I am better than Kirk. But his fruit does not line up with his words. Jesus said we shall know them by their fruit. public sin destroys your witness.

We have to be careful with where we put christian leaders in all categories....I know that Kirk's fruit has brought people to Christ. If he falls short pray that his eyes are open and that he gets back on track. Remember, that those who judge shall be judged of the same measure. Be Blessed

@ivorylee99 - We are on the same page more than you know. Think about this, you can't know if someone if someone gets off track unless you judge the fruit of their actions. The bible does not say not to judge at all, but Christians should not judge hypocritically. Take 1 John 4:1 for example which says Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. This plainly tells you to judge if something is right.

People want to always scream you can't judge this or that. We have to understand the difference between judging and teaching the word. Saying what's in the bible is not judging, it's telling you what God is saying. Judging is putting people down for their actions.

Itching ears that St Paul talks about in 2 Tim 4:3. I'm totally out against a "holier than thou" attitude, but when you know you're doing wrong & decide to call correction "judging", remember God's final judging'll be much worse than men's correction. While I don't know too much of Kirk Franklin's controversies, what he's saying her is SPOT ON! But what he's saying here contradicts and goes against all the prosperity preachers and worshippers. Notice that Donnie and the audience are very quiet near the end. They weren't hoopin and hollaring like they were at the beginning. Either they were feeling convicted, or they weren't agreeing with Kirk. Play this against all the TBN Praise-a-thon, Benny Hinn crap, and it's completely opposite!

kirk does have alot of issues, but in this one little moment in his life right here, he is speaking 100% truth. truth is truth, no matter who says it. all he needs to do is practice what he's saying. it also seems as if donnie wasn't as moved by what he was saying so...

No one that walks the face of this earth is perfect && no one can pass judgement on another human being. It is so easy to condemn someone else without looking at ourselves first. I will pray for him instead of judging him. Because the last time I checked the Bible also speaks on Judging others. Matthew 7: 1-5 && Romans 2:1-3.

@rhamaiah I hear what you are saying about judging others. We are not to judge hypocritically but we are supposed to judge people by their fruit. This is how we know if someone is of God or not. I agree with you that we should not condemn the brother. At the same time it was by judging his fruit that brought you to the place where you feel you should pray for him. I believe there is a difference between hypocritically judging someone and being a fruit inspector.

God can use whomever he chooses, I believe that even you may have been 'judged' for something that someone saw or heard you say but did not understand you or know you. The Bible says that we are to do unto others what we would have done to us. Just something to think about...

@ivorylee99 I never said that I know what Kirk feels in his heart. I just said that there is a difference between judging someone hypocritcally and inspecting someones fruit. The word does say that you will know them by their fruit. If you look at the fruit that someone bears and it does not line up with the word, in a sense you do have to judge someone by their fruit. When someone does things in the public or media and it doesn't match up with what they preach. You judge their fruit.

I feel like we shouldn't deal with the messenger. Matthew 7 tells us not to judge, we leave God to deal with that, but that message he gave was a now word. God can use anyone he choose to get his word throught. People are seeking out God's word in these last days. I don't know about anyone else but that is what I am after, and If this WORDS linesup with the HOLY WORD, I received the word that God has for his people.
