I LOVED the movie! There were only a few problems with it though.

1. It was too short! I think they really could have made the movie more intense and deep, and have given it a better ending.

2. The ending SCREAMS for a sequel!

some people probably didn't like this movie because they're grown up already, I'm 14 and I thought it was great, it's not all the time you see movies like this, I mean, an animated movie where the characters DIE? my 9 year old sis would cover her eyes if one of the sack people were to die, so it's not too kid-friendly, a bit darker... but totally enjoyable for her, 8.5/10

9 is a mildly good movie in my opinion. It had great features, good plot, but i sorta notice a pattern in the story: the dolls runs, one gets capture=search and rescue mission=one loss of doll=angry lecture from 1. But really, the voice acting was great, but at the ending, i couldnt understand it until today when i just saw it again. 9 has LOADS of potential, but it's not better than up. I would give this movie a 7/10.

I give 5/10. Why? It's plot was bad. You see in the original short film it didn't have all this talk about "Souls" and putting your mind in "The Machine", it was just a survival short film of the last remaining of nine strange robots. The fact that they added all these hints in the movie about how The Machine is corruptible and lacked a soul but guess what, these nine small folk had souls from their creator. I thought the story would make more sense if they merged and the machine tried to help.

I'd give it a 5/10. It started off really great, and I think, though it would have been much shorter, it should have ended where they were listening to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." The only characters kept alive after that besides 9 were three who had hardly any character development, while the others who were killed were built upon and the audience got the chance to grow to love.

Oh, I give Shane a lot of my respect! I loved the film, it made me remember what movies were supposed to be like! I was so caught up in it, my friend teased me about not noticing John C.(Don't like his acting in some movies). It just struck me as odd that, with everything else in there, they couldn't do a little better on the end... It just left me hanging, and it's so small, I can look around it and give it a perfect score. It's a wonderful movie, and the second I get some cash, I'm getting it.
