Dude I like your video much more than the one RHCP chose. Great concept - more original - and really well executed. I'm sure you'll be able to adapt this for another band/artist. Shame I thought this would have suited RHCP (being more groud breaking than Indians in the desert and teens running around like they're in a soft drink commercial).

The idea of multiple camera shots from a used object is a great idea, i wont deny, but you've got great angles and no worthwhile footage. There's no essence to the video, just cool presentation. You shoulve put more people and a story into it.

I have to respectfully disagree. I think putting a story to it, as such, could be a bit wanky. This is pure feel good. It compliments the song - a narrative might take from it.

This isn't in real time, nor is it shot with 10 different cameras at the same time.

Yes it is. The 3rd camera at the bottom, is uncut from start to finish, with only a few jump cuts before and after the actual song (-> real time). The first few seconds of the video, right when the actor starts to push the trolly show you the 10-camera-setup in action. To get that right with only one camera it would have been flawlessly choreographed, down to the last shake of the trolly, don´t you think? It´s quite hard to see those details in youtube´s 320 by 240 resolution, though... ;)

Really well done - you have great style.

The trolley guy is intriguiging and charismatic enough that it would be worth it to collapse all the screens back into one at the end of the video as he puts the trolley away - just so one could get a good look at him. You kind of feel like you get to know him in the video - so it would round it out nicely.
