  • I like Glitter A Lot She Is Cute...

  • MasterBlaster must be a member of the Illuminiti. Even back then they tried to fuck with our minds through music.

  • holy C**P i'd forgotten about this weird ass show

  • Hot Stuff = yummy...

  • all this time i thought i was the only one looking for it, i always thought it was called masterblaster. no wonder i couldnt find it and noone had heard about it lol. you tube is awesome sause!

  • They don't make em like this anymore.. for better or worse ;

  • Thank you for whoever posted these!

  • coptor ahahaha

  • @knightriderKITT1985 on my xmas wish list

  • I have a VHS of Kidd Video which I loved but it doesn't have the commercials...or Lionel Richie! This show was so fun. :)

  • @MissEnota: If possible, could you post any episodes from it?

  • I LOVED THIS CARTOON! no one around me remembers it! I cant believe I finally found it. I have been searching for years for this. I love our technology!

  • @RereAndRerun Technology is great. I found it after 7years of searching. Youtube rocks!!

  • I have been looking for this cartoon for so long. I have finally found it. Yea! I miss this cartoon. Lame or not I like it.

  • 3:33 It's Gypsy's (from Mystery Science Theater 3000) father!

  • THE 80'S ROCKED...CARTOON, MOVIES, PRIME TIME, AND MUSIC WERE THE S**T!!...THIS ERA SUCKS!!

  • this is a weird cartoon

  • 7:00 This metaphor is so true. We can't stand the copycats, and we won't go to their concerts, so we are seen as old and out of touch and are cast aside as irrelevant. However the execs are the ones truly out of touch with what music is supposed to be. They don't care because they only want the money.

Unrelated, 4:13 - 4:36 This bit with the old man reminded me of Yellow Submarine.

  • This show seemed like kind of a diss on the record industry, but the record execs didn't seem to realize it.

  • @daeviant That's was the exact metaphor of this show. There's much truth in it.

  • Is it me, or did the "Captain N Game Master" cartoon stole a LOT from Kid Video?

  • "He sure wasn't talking at 33 and a third". Nice turntable reference. :]

  • I remember watching this very episode. This is perfect for watching on a Saturday morning, especially with the commercials.

  • does anyone knows where i can buy the soundtrack?

  • I've been noticing... Commercials in the 80's were a lot longer, weren't they?

  • *Whipes the tear away* oh Gods the commercials too I'm a kid all over again ^^;

  • I had SUCH a crush on the lead singer when I was a wee lad! Thank you so much for this!!

  • So that's what they meant by 'Ambient Gay' . . .

  • These commercials are hilarious!!

  • meraviglioso....la mia infanzia che ritorna...lo ricordo solo io questo cartone!!!!! quanto mi piaceva! wondefull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i feel silly now. at first i was like "Why did this fool record the commercials too?" but then i started watching them and its even more nostalgic memories. in the end i swallowed my words! =D

  • glitter is frickin hot

  • wow even has awesome 80s commercials

  • 4:15 Wut....

  • Why is a muppet sperm selling spagettios :(

  • Oh my god...commercials really did look that back then...LMAO!!

  • the fat nerd with blond hair, is he john denver?

  • wow nbc bumpers great job

  • OMG, I could never remember what the cartoon was called. LOVE IT!!!

  • @PrincessZehna Me either, I could always remember how it started but I could never remember the name of the cartoon. Saw this cartoon many times when I was a kid, I was like 4 years old then, now I'm fixing to turn 28 next month, gosh I feel old, lol.

  • Man, I forgot how bizarre this show was. XD

  • This is clearly about the downside of methamphetamine use. Hopefully everyone can keep from speeding out and they can free Lionel Ritchie from those damn cats, we'll see how parts 2 and 3 shape up. "All night long...." Love that song.

  • thank you!

  • This was one of my favorite cartoons back in the 80's! The commercials were tops too. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • THANK YOU for including the commercials!!! :D

  • I remember this one. Back when Saturday mornings were worth getting up for to watch REAL cartoons.

  • Wow. Some of these commercials really take me back.

  • I feel you, Spameggssausage! With all the running around Carla did, I'm surprised there wasn't more panty-flashing on her part, right in front of the boys. Maybe if it was anime. . .

  • I miss hearing Casey Kasem's voice on Saturday mornings.

  • Carla's dress always looks like it's gonna fall off any second.

  • This show was a prophecy. "We can't stand the Copycats, so they're making us older" seems like a reference to the shallow and heartless "music" like Lady Gaga that has replaced our music today. Any coincidence that they're being promoted by a wealthy Illuminati-esque character that SITS ATOP A PYRAMID of all places? Call me crazy, but this show was on to something. I'd give anything to go back to the bright and colorful world of the 80s instead of this dark, dreary, and spiritually dead dystopia

  • @phubans :53IMTAKINGYOUTOTHEFLIPSIDE///RIGHTHAND

  • @phubans

If they were to remake this cartoon today, Lady Gaga would be the main villian and ruler of Flipside, and Master Blaster would be taking orders from her. LOL.

They can make a storyline where this band was making better music than Lady Gaga and selling more records in the real world, so Lady Gaga plans to sent them to her home Universe there She has rule over everything in that Universe to keep them as prisoner until such time. LOL. /(^_^)\

  • oh my.... its just.... sooo awesome. the color scheme is just preposterous. 4:20 XD

  • I am totally gonna name my Subaru the Kiddmobile!

  • They are blowing the roof off of H&S Storage!

  • OH MY GOD. HOLY CRAP. I haven't seen this is like almost 20 years

  • Including the commercials with this was a brilliant idea. Memories!

  • LOL 80s commercials!

  • combining popular music and animation...a lost art

  • AND A DUCK! FUCKING RAD!

  • i remember it, it was cool.

  • Once again many many THANKS for posting these now classic episodes as broadcast with the original music & music videos intact, these video clips & songs make & now date the show, sadly that music rights monster(that ruined the WKRP DVD release) keeps kidd video from ever seeing a DVD release. THANKS for showing this show as it should be seen,a quirky wonderful time capsule back into the 80's....long live the 80's

  • Oh. My. God. I remember watching this show on Saturday morning with my brother. And dammit, now I want some oatmeal :P

  • aww Iremember those times!!

  • What' was the Master Blaster's plan for our world?

    Steal all our rock bands?

  • hey make a dvd of these episodes an i'll buy it from you

  • I'm working to clean up the quality of these episodes. Once I'm finished with it, I'll make DVDs and a torrent. But it may take a long time, because I'm just one guy and it's time consuming. Plus, I can only do it in my free time. Just to give you an idea of how long it may take, I've cleaned up 3 episodes over the past month or so.

  • W007 80's adverts

  • Why is this Glitter person wearing leg warmers?

  • @ferretyluv Because leg warmers are rad!

  • with copyrights being life plus 80 years, it kinda seams that way

  • my little pony!

  • wow, you just kicked me back to where it all started for me. I'm 80's nuts. I especially wanna thank you for leaving the commercials in; its like I'm 8 years old again, sittin in front of my 100 lb wooden tv on saturday morning... I don't want to snap out of it and get back to present day.

  • Comment removed

  • @nuttypagal Amen to that!

  • man this is what saturday mornin n the 80's was all about thank you

  • At 7:51

    ...

the one reason why Kidd Video won't be on DVD... unless the DVD producers use the royalty-free version like WKRP in Cinncitatti did.

  • thnk u!!!!!!!!!thought i imagined this...

  • busque toda mi vida este video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yo lo mire cuando era chico y no recordaba el nombre ahora de grande! muchas gracias al que lo subio!!!!

  • i so remember this show.. it was like a mtv for kids. at the end of each show they would preform a song..

  • I used to want everything My Little pony and the commercial in this episode brings up the same old desire! thanks so much for the memories!

  • I meant other old shows that I have on DVD I wish I had This one, sorry for the mixup. LOL

  • now this is when cartoons were worth watching, I wont even think about letting my cousin's kids watch this new stuff when I have them, they prefer the older things like this I have on DVD, thanks for posting

  • your cousin's kids have TASTE =)

btw--where did u get Kidd Video on DVD??

  • i really can't believe it i've been looking but couldn't find it under master blaster this and dungeons & dragons were among my favs i can't wait to pass it on!!!

  • @pimpjuice977 dude i did same thing couldn't memba the name

  • Oh wow - complete with original commercials and NBC bumpers with Casey Kasem V/O!

    You're my new hero.

  • Your gripper-base won't save you.

  • I miss this cartoon so much. Talk about a slice of childhood. I can't believe the commercials are here too!

  • Ohhh Yeah! Take me back, Man....Back to when I was 10 years old! Oh wow! I now even remember the original ads. At the time kidd video was on sat. mornings, I lived in Springfield, Mo. and the NBC affiliate was KYTV Channel 3(aka KY-3, There, Be there!)

  • Classic! I miss the 80s...not the clothes, but the cartoons

  • The '80s were a frightening time.

  • too mature for you.

  • Thanks for the vague, irrelavant to everything comment.

  • It is a good idea to include the commercials.

  • OMG i have been looking so hard to find this cartoon! thanks for posting!!!

  • You kept the commercials...thank you!

  • Hah, it's wild that you pout these up, and with the original commercials no less. Thanks for the flashback!

  • NBC -- Let's All Be There!!!

  • Love this show. Was it ever supposed to be a rip on Yellow Submarine?

  • No, more like it was inspired by Yellow Submarine. Too bad one of the videos in an episode of this show couldn't have been Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds!

  • Was one of the kids in the oatmeal commercial Badger from Better off Dead

  • riding in the back of a truck?.. that would never fly these days.

  • i saw this program in my country peru.......who are that singers. Sorry for my english

  • 0:59 -- From left to right, Carla (Gabriele Bennett), Kidd (Bryan Scott), Whiz (Robbie Rist), and Ash (Steve Alterman).

  • @patrickballoonman Bryan Scott Manichi (born 1965) now lives in Redondo Beach,CA with his wife and 16 year old son. Gabriela Bennett Rossi(born 1963) is now a middle age mother of 3 and lives in Virginia Beach. Robbie Rist and Steve Alterman, never really dissapeared from the public eye.

  • In the Quaker Oatmeal commercial, at 1:54 it looks like Casey Ellison (aka "Allen" on Punky Brewster).

  • Whoa! Talk about a flash back!!!! I completely FORGOT about this show!!! Damn! Time really flew!

  • This show brings back memories - it's like Land of the Lost, the Monkees and MTV all rolled into one!

  • So many positive vibes... compared to the dreary ones these days

  • That's so totally rad.

  • This is the best cartoon in the world! Long life to Kidd Video!

  • I wish they'd relese these on DVD. Wonder why they haven't? Probably somone with a stick up their ass holding them for ransom. Kinda like the reason why Transformer (G1) DVDs haven't been released in the US.

  • That's a good question! This series should have been got put out on DVD! As

for Transformers (G-1) Rhino DVD distribution got bought out by Sony BGM and they put the complete G-1 series out of print! But it was on DVD in print from around 1998 to around 2004.

  • Same here, it's like nobody had any idea of that show when I mentioned it.

  • man, saturday mornings in the 80s were great...now everything's digital,computer-generated,etc...in a way, technology screwed us,then again thanks to technology i can watch all this old stuff anytime i want...long live youtube

  • Thank you for posting this!!!i have told many people over the years about this show & they thought i was crazy or lying! * a footnote* the music video clips & hit songs were removed for syndication later on due to royalties & music rights issues. Nice to see Kidd Video original & uncut as broadcast. I am 17 again!!!!

  • Lol! I was thinking to myself during the Spagettios commercial " the mr.O looks like a condom," the the magician skeeted on him at the end!!!

  • Wholly craptacular crap! I don't remember this show at all!

  • I remember this. The 80s was the Golden Age of cartoons. Now, every now and then you get a few good shows and a lot of crap.

  • What a awesome cartoon of back in the day I see sometimes.

  • What did that talking mosquito say she was gonna do? What the hell? My TOYOTA! It looks like a semi shaped like a tiger on acid! And the road has a roller coaster loop scarier than Busch Gardens' SHIEK-RA! Why oh why didn't we run when the MIRROR started talking instead of grouping up into one clustered target?

  • Hell yeah, i had a robo force toy when i was a kid. Wish i still had it. Probably be worth some money now. The suction cup is by far the best feature lol.

  • land of the lost!!!

  • This show was o.k. but I always thought it was really a ripp off of CBS' 'Dungeons & Dragons'. Young kids minding their own business when all-of-a-sudden they find themselves trap into another world. They spend the rest of their lives looking for a way home.

  • okay, y the hell are they not freaked out that they are suddenly cartoons and running through this wierd world. i if i was them i would want to get out of there are soon as possisible. i think that everything in this show moved way to fast. they were practicing and suddenly they're in the flip side. so confusing. and of course the children who have been turned to cartoons are suddenly eager to help.

  • Ok, this was THE show back in the '80s. EVERYBODY was singing this and Jem. lol!

  • thx sooooooooooooooo much

  • Waw this show was actually pretty educational in the music dept. but it doesnt make me miss the 80s one bit XD

  • I used to LOVE this show back in the day. Thank you for taking me back to my childhood days. I am now 33 and my kids have never seen or heard of Kidd Video.

  • OMG!!! This brings back so many memories

    LONG LIVE THE 80'S!!!!

  • I remember this from back in the day

  • Crappy robbots.

    ha, ha, ha...

  • Oh my god! Master Blaster has Lionel Ritchie stuck in a bubble!

  • thank you for making this Saturday morning PERFECT.

  • I used to LOVE this stupid show when I was a kid!!

  • oH NO.. why couldnt they just have left Lionel Richie there..!!!

  • im amazed that these tapes survived i mean they gota be atleast 20 years old im just wondering how they survided

  • I want Kidd's boots!

  • I use to love this cartoon.

  • Ah lost childhood memories! Everything is so 80s in that show. I had forgotten all about it!

  • 5:17 - I think Glitter landed in a fat pile of ye-yo.

  • this is f-ing awesome, especially the ads! the whole experience!

  • yeah the ads are really cool. specially the robot one :)

  • Lol, my little pony!!

I tried once to shampoo mine, after that her hair turned out CRAP! ^__^

  • Has anyone ever notice that all bad guys have to do their evil laugh.

  • but they also have best songs.

  • My dad still makes fun of this show. I'm sending this to him, he'll get a kick out of it. :D

  • You guys might find this site interesting. There's info on the cast of Kidd Video: kvflipside(dot)org

  • Man... I used to love this show. I can't believe how lame it seems now.

  • where the hell did you find this

  • September 15, 1984

  • I use to video tape hours and hours of cartoons back in the day! I totally forgot about this one!

  • Is it me or did Carla and Kidd seem smitten with each other. I notice it in the videos too.

  • yeah, I noticed it too :D

  • Uh...maybe that was the plot for the show but my gaydar is going off big time for "Kidd". So, maybe Ash was more Kidd's type in real life, LOL.

  • Totally :) First thing I thought seeing him ;)

  • Did you know that the nerd in the group is none other than Cousin Oliver from the Brady Bunch?

  • And Choji from "Naruto"... no really!!!

  • Yes, everybody know that.

  • Yes, I noticed it, too-most of these animated shows have the main lead male character and the main lead female character pair off, it's called 'shippyness', from the word relationship. Some other notables include Chip & Gadget Hackwrench (Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers), Beetlejuice & Lydia Deetz (Beetlejuice), Scarlett & Duke (G.I.Joe), Destro & the Baroness (G.I. Joe), Egon & Janine (The Real Ghostbusters)-and it's still true even now.

  • Wow, I hadn't noticed that until now.

  • I love being taken back with such amazin retro-stuff!!

Was this band real or just cooked for the TV show intro?

  • I'm sure they weren't a real band but they were all musicians (except for the girl). They did some live performances on other shows (without her) just to promote the cartoon.

  • Tnx!

  • Thats where Lionel hid in the 80's

  • "Oh NOES they captured Lionel Richie!?"

    80's music + Trippy animation = Win.

And those old commercials are a trip too!

  • i hear ya!

  • awesome! takes me back, thanks

  • retro commercials! awesome!
