I think this is a good video of what can happen out on the ice when it looks good---- It should stay up here so that other iceboaters see it and gives them something to think about when the ice looks good. Wow - scary crash. Good video, Geoff. I hit a hole on Christmas Day -- the pressure ridge off of Robinson's Bay. Fortunately we crossed it and kept going, only getting wet from the spray. There's still that big hole to the north of Big Island. Hopefully this cold weather will firm things up. Gotta be careful still.

I'm so sorry to hear about the broken bones. That's terrible news. Your little girl is very brave... she didn't cry or even speak about any pain at all. If you'd prefer, I'll remove this video. A speedy recovery to both of you!
