My first car was a 96 SOHC 2.0l Neon coupe i topped it out at 135mph all stock epic speed wabble suck was gunna do a simular thing but keep the body stock and drop the 2.0 and shoe in a 2.4l srt4 mopar stage 2 setup than it got stolen :( stupid crack heads

@OnceThusFar Then I'd definitely go with a turbo. It's the best of both worlds. You can do the same with nitrous, but eventually it'll be like a money pit having to fill the bottle over and over again.

I have a chrysler neon also, the year 1999 four-door red, pity that here in Brazil he stopped being imported in 2001, maybe in two years I want to import the dodge neon srt-4 2005 and customize it all, because it is a car I like. Good luck with your car, thanks friend.

@neon400 Nowhere. The wiper arms have splines. Just remove one arm and reset the other to your preference...

@01neonrt No one was 1 DOT 5k 1.5k for motor and trans with around 50k miles as said, another was 2k or b.o. with 65k, the first guy has had 4 negatives all motors :( Saying they dont work, thats all he sells tho... Idk, im across the country in PA lol i wish i could find a junk yard with a few neons and just take this and that for it lol, I would LOVE to build it almost from the ground up tho haha

How I wish i could buy that off you lol, jeez thats nice this would be my 2nd pick to the SRT-4 just insurance would be crazy for me, though i want a coupe and a body kit, to set me apart from every other neon out there till i step on it haha, what body kit was that? And when u gave me the cost did u mean wit nitro etc cuz all i want is the motor, tranny, tires, exhaust FIRST then body kit, seats, steering wheel and dash, Finally stereo, window tint, maybe paint job, and some bolt ons..

@PutzkiSniper That's a urethane Xenon kit with a different front... I didn't want to cut into the Xenon front for the intercooler at the time. Now I sport the full kit. Yeah, insurance is nothing... they don't know what's under the hood;) That 5k is the cost for performance goodies, not looks...

@01neonrt Lol ya thats why im gonna try this way bcz i said ill get the SRT-4 and put like a R/T motor in, he said (my dad) why!? lol i said for insurance he said it dont matter its still a SRT-4 bcz the SRt has the stereo looks rims interior EVERYTHING i want, so i thought of making a replica but i cant bcz cant find a SRT-4 kit, so i deceided light weight coupe neon, not a total sleeper i wana turn heads but make ppl say "Look a stupid neon with a fart can" ;) Lol no big rice wing

@01neonrt Yeah, I agree, around here if mine was as low as urs, there would be pieces of it EVERYWHERE, there (my parents) SRT-4 front end scrapes on almost everything bcz it is just so hilly even almost coasting over it :/ My friends parents buy him EVERYTHING and he is going to get some brand new Turbo Diesel F-250 and says it will rape my parents SRT lol haha, the SRT is making 300 WHP, and i would like to be at about 250 until im about 20
