the dada dada oh.... ok,...but that beat becomes very behind the intense sensual hook, and you need to stop saying { i'm sorry hon} that is the last thing any talented ear needs to hear , sayin sorry hon only gets you so far, the beat is not the one you set out to make and its all there to hear, you wanted it to be sexy but it it came off contemp soul, ah, but not the the look of, and not the feel of hot longing ,sorry............ no need to be..........it's nice it's allright.....

Look of Love is one of my favorite songs. While I love the Burt Bacharach and Vikki Carr version, this is still a very beautiful rendition to the song. Great job Erik.

In all honesty, if I had to sing "The Look of Love" TODAY, I wouldn't use this kind of rhythm either. I guess I'm getting more conservative as I get older. But when we did this song two years ago, I wanted to try something different. Sorry that you hated it.

THis version, with it's hip hop cantor, doesn't work. I get that a lot from hip hop beats, as they have a way of making the momentum of a tune stumble and trip over itself. Too many beats in the middle of others. Stay lean.

Drums, double bass and piano don't create a hip-hop sound. My singing in this song, although quite far from the original version, has very little to do with hip-hop as well. Thanks for listening anyway.

Thanks a lot, but why is everybody payig so much attention to this particular song. I believe it's because of Ursula's pictures... Guys, I have other, BETTER songs on YouTube too. This version stinks. Look at Diana Krall's video. There are two, one with an orchestra showing and one showing two guys putting up a poster on a wall in New York. Its the New York version. Thanks for posting it but the guys are right, the only reason to put up with this is Ursula Andress.

Dude, the song is a can't lose tune, The choice of eye candy from the late sixties is what I consider the hottest in the history of film but at 4.30 into the song and Ursula morphs into you...whew bummer. Kidding, Good luck. You sound great and make great choices.
