Please do not use q-tips. They do not work at all for cleaning out ears, all they do is push the wax deeper and impact it around your ear drum. Leading to ear infection and pain. Believe me, I'm going through it right now.

I just got back from the doctor and all she did was dig in my ear making my pain MUCH worse. The best and safest way to clean your ears is exactly what this guy said. I just wish I seen it beforehand.

hey man thanks for the tutorial, i just finished my second ear, took about 12-15 mins each. i waited til the crackling stopped then dumped it in to a towel. i hear much better!!! also i dont remember if you mentioned how ticklish it feels. i was giggling most of the time xD

we do this with my nephew. We poor a little into his ear and make him lie there with that ear up until he can't hear fizzyness anymore then we rinse it out. He gets kinda scared by the fizzyness though.....poor baby

Yeah, it is the safest way. My doctor even gave me some ear drops which flat out says on the front hydrogen peroxide... not near as strong though. They even said never use q-tips as they are bad and they only help build up your earwax. It only helps push the earwax together than you are screwed. Hydrogen peroxide is the only way to go!

Good vid, but something to add: An eyedropper is easier to aim with and if you don't have one, use a drinking straw. Put the straw in bottle and then put your finger over the end sticking out and pull a few drops of peroxide out. Point at your ear hole and release your finger.

Use hydrogen peroxide on all wounds... drink it, inhale it (atomized). Seriously, people should start spreading the word on hydrogen peroxide's uses. It's probably one of the only true cure-all's out there that doesn't just do worse damage. The research that says it's a dangerous substance for internal use is not bullshit, but people forget that in the right doses and potency, it's as harmless as air. Smokers should inhale hydrogen peroxide to clear their lungs, i do. I quit recently however.

BEWARE! If the eardrum happens to be perforated due to an injury or infection the peroxide will cause excruciating pain and damage. I know this because I just ran my daughter to the emergency room after my wife poured some in her ear. She was screaming in pain immediately. Maybe its fine for cleaning a healthy ear but see a doctor if there is previous discomfort or pain.

I'll have to give this a try...wife said use alcohol, i responded to her that i do use alcohol reguarly but not in my ears...i would assume alcohol would do some serious damage to the ear drum? When you go to the doctor, i believe they use some type of peroxide solution in their irrigation techniques...I'm wondering if you should dillute the peroxide down a little?

im a 13 year old kid and i have a wax buildup in my left ear,its so uncomfortable ,it feels like my canal is blocked, i have hearing loss in that ear, but i suffer from severe anxiety so when i try to put drops in or flush my ear out with a syringe,i get this feeling thats like x2 what it is now, completely blocked, very bad hearing,until i can feel a pop and it returns to this feeling (just clogged) even now i am constantly worrying about my ear because of my anxiety, what can i do someone plz?

@BobizEpic - I had the same problem 3 years back. the ear wax built up and hardened. thats why it feels clogged. its probably impacted like mine was because i couldnt hear out of it either. I tried the peroxide and it did break a lot of it up and my ear and hearing became normal but I still went to a ENT (Ear Nose & Throat) doctor to make sure it was all cleared out. Treat it ASAP cause it can really damage your ear and cause hearing loss permanently

Thanks a lot man for the video. I will give it a try out tonight. I have often wondered about using Hydrogen Peroxide to clean ears, then I found your video. Great.

It is also amazing if you get blood on a shirt or other clothing. Just pour it on the stain, even if the stain is dry. Then rinse under cold running water. Repeat if needed, but you probably won't. I am off to clean my ears, I will probably make a mess, ha!
