Too bad Reva had to be found. Kim Zimmer sucks. She's a prima donna in her own mind that thinks she on par with Susan Lucci.... but she's not... she's like the Z-List (and fat) version of Susan Lucci.
@ajwrangler1977 Her and Susie are both horrible but yes Kimmie's a fatty! never pretty at all(Josh was a barf as well!) How about: Robin Strasser, Jane Elliot, Andrea Evans and Jess Walton, now those are class acts!
to think that the whole time she was living as a princess on a tropical isle & then moved in the some nice Amish folks only to be discovered by her arch-enemy.
This was actually filmed on the old Bahia honda rail bridge just look up bahia honda bridge and look and the west end of it thats cut off it is the same bridge, also the old seven mile bridge did not have a hump.
It was explained rather loosely in 1999 when Josh and Reva went on their honeymoon on San Cristobel. A honeymoon to forget as the two were arrested and Josh was thrown into a dungeon. Reva on the other hand was carted off to a royal palace where her secret life was revealed. The way I recall, Reva was discovered by Richard and he married her. Later, Edmund rids the island of "Katherine", which is who Reva was known as. Reva, with more amnesia, arrives in Goshen and goes by Rebecca.
i remember that reva was presumed dead again in 1998 and she ended up on an island with some guy. can't remeber his name but are there any clips of that? soaps are teh best i tell you. i jus wish nowadays they would focus more on character instead of plot
So THIS is what my Mom keeps going on about. x_x Didn't start watching until '98, the episode -after- Annie staged that fall down the stairs to frame Reva.
it was a regular expense back then. The soaps could afford regular location shots, plus this was THE story of Summer 1990. Also GL had WAY better ratings back then, they sat around 5th or 6th place (out of 12 soaps out at the time), and got about a 5.5 rating weekly (compared to 1.9 now:P)
While I liked Reva, to be honest, the show was fine without the character especially years 91 - 93 when GL was must see!
I guess somehow after this she ended up on an Island and thought she was Katherine...then somehow ended up in Goshen!

I met Kim Zimmer when she and other soap actors came to a mall back in 1985. She seemed friendly-not a prima donna at all.

Now I know what inspired them to do this with Jonathon 17 years later.

& they all thought she crashed to her death.

& then brought back home, only to be cloned.

Man I'd love to see this entire episode again. I never religiously watched this, but I distinctly remember seeing this on TV when I was a kid.

How did Reva end up in Goshen in the mid-90s after driving off the brige in Florida? Was that ever explained on the show?

While I treasure this as an iconic moment, I can't help thinking of Toonces, the cat on Saturday Night Live.
"Toonces, look out!"

It was taped on the old span of the Seven Mile Bridge, which links Marathon to the lower Keys (such as Key West).

the guy's name was Sean...this presumed "death" is how the clone story came about.

I remember this. And yes, it was the jumping point for many stories to come.

Guiding Light at it's best from 1990 til 1993 after Maureen's death. One of GL's golden era's

This was the jumping point (pun intentional) of many future stories for GL.

I wonder how much that cost? They could never afford to do something like that again.
