Do any of you complaining sing much? I do, and it is hard to remember all the lyrics of music when you are doing a lot of different pieces. It was a concert. Doesn't sound like the audience had any problem with it. You guys need to chill with the criticism.

Beautiful... her singing here is so moving, with the voice at its utmost prime. And about the music stand- by 1975, she had earned the right to have the music in front of her during a formal concert.

I think this shouldn´t be about who is better, but about the different emotions these sopranos make you feel through the music. Both of them are great, some prefer Tebaldi, some caballé, I just thank the opportunity of listening to them, that´s what music should do, not creat antagonism between two great singers.

These singers have all reached that exalted state that comes with natural talent combined with years of hard work.

Once you reach that 'superstar' status it is not helpful to compare. Just enjoy!

who cares about having the music in front of her, its a concert performance. my concern is the hand movements, this one needs to take a lesson from Mme. Flagstad.

tebaldi versus caballe is an opinion, not a fact. caballe has had an incredible international career and is one of the most famous sopranos this century. and do you reeeaaalllly think caballe doesn't know fucking donde lieta?

Why is it that when singers become famous, they think that they don't have to memorize their music anymore?! This certainly diminishes the connection with the audience.

Caballé is very great, altought I prefer another great singers that are not so good known internationaly. Anyway it´s one of all my time favorites.

Tebaldi has a better voice. Tebaldi has more warmth.
