yeah if u read any of the lost and the damned youll notice most of the black crusades are just the black legion, organized by abbadon. alot of chaos is it fighting itself, thus it becomes and always was, chaos. plus, every1 has ambition, and with ambition comes a neeed of power if your not with humility, and considering many chaos space marines were from chaostic and ambitious gene-seeds, they too are ambitious and will fight anyone for power, even themselvez.
