All trades are going the same way.. Quantity over quality! Personally I hope more trades men get sued for their lack of performance by insurance companies.
one thing, it didnt look like you pucker your ridge vent. if you did that...you would not need to use tubes of expensive sealant. you gotta think like water...bud.
@wtlo1977 -- OK wtlo, I'm thinking like water, bud. Please describe what you mean by "puckering" a ridge vent. Anytime I've heard the term "pucker" describing any aluminum home improvement product ... it's usually a very bad thing.
Let's see ... I'm sealing the metal vent to the roof with Geocel, and then sealing the attaching screws. "Puckering" the vent will allow me to skip these important steps?
Hmmm. Pardon me, I'm a very skeptical roofer. Thanks.
