@icee489 Apparently Kratos had a brother who died and was in the underworld before Kratos got put there by Gaia's betrayal. When Kratos was walking around, he would read a few writings made by his brother. I think that it was him who took Kratos' body at the ending because he like the other souls were released from the underworld when Hades died.

@icee489 He was never mentioned by name. It wasn't really writings. Kratos would just hear a voice. I had to go over that part of the game again. It was a short time after Kratos talks with Athena's ghost when he's put back in the underworld. And I think it was his brother who took Kratos' body at the end since all the dead people escaped the underworld after Hades' death.
