Thanks, JD. Two meters is usually really cooking with Es by the time 162 MHz weather stations start popping in, but not always! They do make good E skip indicators being 300-1000 watts.

normally for me, the 11 metre e skip comes in first, then fades out and 160 mhz skip flows in .
