@FormerFilmer This does happen sometimes, check your wifi connection or cancel and restart the download.

@MelkoPena If you have a google account on the phone, it should be fine. Try turning wifi off or 3G off, then back on again and restarting download, always works for me.

Hey, i suspect an app i've download "Fruit Ninja " apk file, is a scam. It wants my permission to access my personal information and access to my internet.If i uninstall the app, will the permission be removed also?

My phone won't find "NOVA - Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance" on the market, any idea why? I tried everything and it's so fuckin' annoying.

I got it working now after doing a search on Google, apparently a lot of people are having the same problem, you need to change your Googlemail . com account name to gmail . com do a factory reset on the phone, and then it will work, it did for me and many other people on Google forums.

Thanks I've tried that including rebooting my router and my phone, it just hangs on the downloading bar with no progress at all it's been like this for the last 10/15 minutes. All other stuff such as YouTube on the phone works perfectly so my Internet connection is ok.

Do you get any random crashes? I get those sometimes on my aging 1st gen iPhone.

Also, do you think there's anything Apple could do with this upcoming iPhone that would make the Desire much less... well... desirable? (and I'm not just talking about the cool factor, of which the iPhone has plenty)

@nickbu1 I am on T-Mobile with a good signal. It goes without saying better and more advanced phones will come out in the future, but for the time being I think that the Desire is the best.

@desaironak11 You cannot install apps on the memory card, unless you alter/root the device. However, I have found there is plenty of space for apps.

@largy1964 Yes it does multitask. I prefer the iTunes Apps Store for ease of use, but the Android Market as you can see is perfectly OK.

@zkillers80 I doubt you need, I'm pretty sure the purchases stay in your google account. Also, googled once and found this:

"No, it will not charge you again to re-download an app.

This is different from the way they handle music. With music, you have to pay again to re-download."
