@1nChristAlone I certainly will brother. Understand that if it's God's will for you to let go, then do so. I can say I know that God will heal you. It always takes time. I wasn't married to the mother of my child but she cheated on me and is married to that same guy now. Her leaving me was devastating after investing so much into the relationship just to have it go down the drain. That trial led me to give my life to Christ and He has never failed me EVER.

I was in a similar situation after 27 years of marriage and six children (all adults). This song got me through my most tortured moments. I cried daily, wanting to give up. From the dishes to the pots and pans, everything was given to us. I've been FULLY AND TOTALLY restored. He is faithful and as long as you keep Him first, you will be first with Him

I cant explain how much the words of this song hit me. I had been so lost, looking for some kind of peace in my heart. It seemed like no one could truly understand my pain of losing my mother...BUT there was someone and he knew my pain and if I could HOLD ON...he would bring me through ! And he did ! THANK YOU LORD !

I've replayed this song countless times when I was in one of the lowest parts of my life. This song embodied God's message of help, hope love and reconciliation. It truly got me through. Thank God for Mr. Hammond and his crew for being anointed and passing their gift of ministry through song.

When I realized she was using my kids to try to upset me i took off my wedding band and have tried not to look back.
I discovered that the reason why we never had an argument in 15 yrs was b/c she was "telling me 'Yes' to everything and building her resentment towards me.

oh my god.... i finally found this song on u-tube. This is one of the songs that made me fall in love with fred hammond. I was in prison the first time i head this song, and i listened to it again and again. I'm a amature musician my self...and after discovering hammond, i want to follow his lead and do gospel music too. That man is BAD!!!!! @mzlyrical08 I think prior to them beginning that portion, Fred Hammond says Minister Thomas Whitfiled. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the song. But perhaps if you google the lyrics and Thomas Whitfield together, some findings will turn out. I hope that helps. God bless.

Yesterday, I thought, "This is not a song of strength...it's a song that hurts to listen to." Today, I just heard it again. Now, it makes me feel better and stronger knowing that my God is a merciful God that hears my cries. The only One that I can truly trust. Lord, bring healing.

@1nChristAlone I certainly will brother. Understand that if it's God's will for you to let go, then do so. I can say I know that God will heal you. It always takes time. I wasn't married to the mother of my child but she cheated on me and is married to that same guy now. Her leaving me was devastating after investing so much into the relationship just to have it go down the drain. That trial led me to give my life to Christ and He has never failed me EVER.

@1nChristAlone I hope this doesn't open your wound. Just noticed that you posted yuor comment seven months ago. I pray things are better with you. I was in a similar situation after 27 years of marriage and six children (all adults). This song got me through my most tortured moments. I cried daily, wanting to give up. But those words, "Hold on and wait just a little while," kept me going. Beautiful song, beautiful hope. Remember Jeremiah 29:11.

@1nChristAlone I was in your position 4 years ago when I divorced my husband and he left me and my children with no money, no vehicle, no place to lay our heads, only our clothes and air mattresses...his way of punishing me for moving forward. 4 years later I have a new house, fully furnished by God and God alone. From the dishes to the pots and pans, everything was given to us. I've been FULLY AND TOTALLY restored. He is faithful and as long as you keep Him first, you will be first with Him
