Vaio sucks, a lot of models in the 2009 have got the ddr2 ram and the unique advante is the Blu-Ray optical drive.

Vaio is great, no offense, but.. Its not only a faster boot time that you pay for. It enables you to use Mac OS X which means stability, reliability, speed and well, a virus-free beautiful working space... let alone the battery, the multi-touch trackpad, and customer support of course.

And it can still run Windows (faster than PCs run it, surprisingly..) if you ever need it.

Well, Mac OS X is very much - especially Snow Leopard (the latest version) - uses Cocoa as well.

You can boot into a Windows system on all apple computers with an Intel CPU (look for BootCamp), or you can run a Windows inside Mac OS X so that you're running the two systems simultaneously, at the same time. (look for Parallels or Fusion)

Snow Leopard has built-in virus detection. Currently there are no actual viruses for the Mac though.

You can install windows on a mac. But when you do make sure you have a good virus protection. Now with OS X you can get a virus but its very rare that you will get one.

That is true but not with new laptops. New Laptops have float chargers which prevent it from overcharging. They shut off the charging at full charge and turn it back on after it has lost some of its power. You are talking about the trickle charger which overcharges the battery. The G50v has them.
