  • This is really inspiring Ed!

  • Maybe a little tiny video about the sound part: tips, what equipment you use, pitfalls to avoid and so on!

  • I'm definitely going to support either by renting it on DEMAND, iTunes or buying DVD, great job keep it up and thanks for documenting for us.

  • 24mm, 50mm, and 85mm - good range of lenses.

  • '41' film from Australia, shot on a canon 5D for a total cost of under $10,000 /watch?v=plx-mSN1_kU

  • Great advice. The final cost of the film including post production was $100k.

  • To clarify what Ed said, the camera used would be the Canon 5D Mark II, as opposed to the Canon 5D (non-Mark II). Both are full-frame DSLRs, but the older Canon 5D does not include HD video support as the 5D Mark II does.

  • Great advice, Ed! We did the same philosophy with our feature film, No Footing, cashing in every favor that I had accumulated over several years. Just recently got a Canon 7D and hope to make another feature using that in the same style. Really looking forward to seeing Newlyweds!

  • When does Newlyweds come out on DVD?

    Can't wait to see it!

  • Thanks Ed.

  • some great advice there-thanks ed!
