Serbs, Croats, Slovenes, Macedonians, Bosniaks and Montenegrins those are nations - so if Macedonians were descedants of Ancient Macedonians (in which I don't believe) all others in Yugoslavia wouldn't be. Former Yugoslavia were something like EU today - many nation in one! For example "Europeans" could be Italians and Swedish but if Swedish are descedants of The Vikings, Italians for sure are not

Eurovision song contest is not real.. its a Donald duck competition. Balkans country votes only on there neighbours...well balkans country are like they are.. poor bunch of assholes.
This voting was the final reminder we needed why the 100% televoting just wasn't working. The few countries that didn't fall under the sway of neighbour voting cast some truly bizarre votes (keep an eye out for the Greek votes later on), and this undermined any real sense of competition. That has to be the only reason why Azerbaijan finished so high and Portugal didn't even make the top-10, and why the eventual winner won.
@ErdvinBarjaktar I have to say I agree, I live in the UK and I would like to think we don't politically vote, but the reality is different, 2008 12pts for Greece, 2009 12pts for Turkey. It doesn't take Einstein to figure that one out!
The voting this year was ridiculous! It spoilt what was a great show Serbia put on. The Nordics, the Balkans, former Soviet Union, Iberian peninsula, basically every country's voting was corrupt. I can't believe it took this long for the EBU to change the system!
And ok for Greece as the song was catchy, in English and entered the UK Singles Chart. But Turkey? I can hardly believe that English people liked it or at least voted for it so much.

Serbs, Croats, Slovenes, Macedonians, Bosniaks and Montenegrins those are nations - so if Macedonians were descedants of Ancient Macedonians (in which I don't believe) all others in Yugoslavia wouldn't be. Former Yugoslavia were something like EU today - many nation in one! For example "Europeans" could be Italians and Swedish but if Swedish are descedants of The Vikings, Italians for sure are not

I see them as young Slavic nation not as descedents of Alexander the Great and Ancient Macedonians. This voting was the final reminder we needed why the 100% televoting just wasn't working. The few countries that didn't fall under the sway of neighbour voting cast some truly bizarre votes (keep an eye out for the Greek votes later on), and this undermined any real sense of competition. That has to be the only reason why Azerbaijan finished so high and Portugal didn't even make the top-10, and why the eventual winner won.

The voting this year was ridiculous! It spoilt what was a great show Serbia put on. The Nordics, the Balkans, former Soviet Union, Iberian peninsula, basically every country's voting was corrupt. I can't believe it took this long for the EBU to change the system!
