This card is utter trash since it requires you to run 2 shitty God Cards and 1 halfway decent one and get them all the field before you Opponent kills you. Also why is Slifer able to be targeted? Did we really need to fuck up yet another God Card Konami? Did we really?! Its sad you can bring my Caius to 400 Slifer and still get banished...kudos Konami kudos...

You can't veiler Horakhty because, once it's on the field, you've already won.

You can't activate Veiler if the duel's over.

And you can't "chain" veiler in an attempt to have your effect go off first because summons don't start chains.

@PegasusJudai First of all, being semi-nomi has nothing to do with the ability of being negated. Second, that is not an official OCG news site. It's just an OCG news site. Furthermore, that page doesn't even have any credible proof of anything, other than what's on the card itself.

On the other hand, based on knowledge of existing cards and their rulings (a similar example would be Quickdraw Synchron), there is proof that Horakhty cannot be negated.

@PegasusJudai Summons do not start chains, they can be responded to, but the responding card will be first on the chain link and not the summon itself. This means that Veiler cannot be "chained" directly to a summon. Horakhty's text following it's summon conditions are also /conditions/ and not effects, so even if you could use veiler - or like you said Skill Drain - Horakhty remains uneffected (Like QD Synchron's conditions of being used as synchro material).

@PegasusJudai I've already read the article a couple of times. The only thing it tells is of a 10,000 applicant give-away and Horakhty's text and statistics. Also, as I've said before, this website is not considered an Official source of news, although it does share confirmed cards. Official would mean Konami has to have created and oversees it. If I'm overlooking what exactly you want me to read, then please be less vague, but thank you for obliging to my request to troll harder.
