@BAJARACER43X its not a matter of opinion or taste. It is a fact that no guitars sound exactly the same. there is a subtile difference between for instance 2 Gibsons LP 2008. I own 3 gibsons one SG and two LP they all sound different. If you can't hear it. it does not mean it does not exist! Yust like germs and the infra red spectrum.

Feh... Les Paul's don't do a thing for me. I used to have an early 70s Les Paul Custom. As soon as I got my hands on a Strat, and later a Tele, I was basically done with Gibson. Flat 12" radius necks (that can't be swapped out by conventional means) and muddy humbuckers are NOT where it's at from where I'm sitting.

IMHO there is nothin amazing in that guitars sound. Good player and singer though thats for sure. But soundwise there is better guitars than 50+ year old instrument. Or maybe someone is suggesting that guitar makers cannot anymore improve anything? yeah right... well maybe the price tag on that thing psychologically makes it sound better... Yamaha SG series guitars sounds still better, no matter how old and rare that thing is. The sunburst is normal sunburst too, nothing special about it.

There's a bloke selling a Max Les Paul 59 Replica kit and he said that Max Baranet's replicas and kits are based of his genuine 59 Les Paul geometry and the neck profile is NOT like the 59 Reissues, i.e. the genuine 59 are somewhere between 59 and 60 Ri. Any information would help. Thanks.
