  • sirviya where can i buy this in Canada? can you write full description in this pallett? thank you

  • one of those swatches looks just like the rose pigment by MAC

  • why do they always have the waffle texture on them? i hate that! wish they were flat!!

  • hiyah just wanted to know whether the sleek eyeshadows stay on all day.

    thanks x

  • @neharkhan Yes, with a good primer they do.

  • i love the colours but they are really crumbly!:D

  • Argh, I went to superdrug and it was a toss-up between a new foundation or buying this... and I wish I had got this now!

  • where can you purchase them

  • Please read the video description.

  • @lucymmmm1 i know superdrug have them because they now stock all sleek products.

  • very useful review, thank you! I'll try to get one from eBay, since I live in Italy.

  • uhhh the colors are so pretty, specially the orange one !!!

    =3

  • Do you know where I could purchase this in the US... Because 5 pound is very cheap. Do they have a website?

  • Their website hasn't lunched yet. Soon, hopefully.

  • Thank you (:

  • If you try ebay, I think its on there

  • @LipGlossLuver24 sleekcosmetics. com sells around 6 differnt pallets now.

they are quite cheap and great quality it looks like!

  • we just got this in aberdeen! so exciting!

  • Yay!

  • I think an orange smokey eye would be so pretty

  • I think I'm going to have to do one now :)

  • i dont actually know what your aims are on youtube?

It would be nice to know

  • Why do I need aims for Youtube?

  • Great swatches! I love my graphite palette!

  • I love mine too!

  • I think the blue colour would look good as a liner with some sort of a light golden brown look on your lid. It's very popular but I find it more of a summer look.

  • I agree :)

  • I love this palette! I've seen these around in a few different videos and I know it's a UK product, but I'm in the USA. So, does anyone know is Sleek ships to the USA or where I could get some sleek products?

  • They don't yet. When they eventually ge their online store running they'll be shipping world wide.

  • check their sleek make up website

  • have you tried any of their foundations? xx

  • I bought one in London but I don't think I've actually used it yet!

  • I have this and I looove it!. I swapped for it (I'm in the US) and I am so glad I did! I do wish there was a satin Med-dark brown instead of the blue to use as a transition color or for deepening like the black, but really I love love love it for the texture and color pay off and blendability.

  • I think a med-dark brown would have worked really well in the palette.

  • @Sirvinya I totally agree. I love the Sleek palettes so much, but definitley think a dark brown needed in the palette.

  • I love this palette and thank you for this review!

  • Thanks :)

  • this is by far my favourite sleek palette, and I am a little obsessed with #Sleek haha. Are their eyedusts any good? I've been wanting to pick some up

  • The eye dusts are fantastic!! Really brilliant product. I think the Safari has been my favourite so far.

  • ive got the acid pallette :) LOVE it!!!

  • Yay!

  • I am going to review this in my blog later,, think it will be very similar to yours. Do you have the acid palette? would love a review X

  • I don't have the Acid one. Send me the link to the review once you've got it up, I'd love to see it :)

  • I love this palette !!! Beautiful colors !!! Thank you, i love your videos !!!!!

  • Thanks :)

  • oh those are beautiful colors. at first i wasnt impressed until you swatched them on your hand. going to have to try to find that in the U.S. :)

  • The Sleek website will be shipping world wide when they finally get it live.

  • Between the orange, yellow and blue I could see some lovely spring looks too.

  • Oooh, definitely.

  • yay just found out the in my local superdrug so ill definatly be buying some sleek make up today :D thanks for the review

  • Yay! Have fun shopping :)

  • Do you know if sleek is available in the U.S.? By the way I'm completely addicted to your videos, you do such a great job! :) I'd love to do a swap sometime maybe as I make more videos?

  • hi catthebeautyhunter i just looked on the superdrug website and said for oversea's fans the online store for sleek will be availiable in fevury 2010

  • Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy them!

When the Sleek website everntually goes live, they will be shipping world wide :)

  • I've a suggestion for a way to use the blue, though I don't know if it is to your taste. ^-^' Put the color swatched on the bottom of your hand all over the lid, the blue on the outer corner (and a little in) then lightly apply the black to the crease just above the blue. Line with a similar blue eyeliner and apply mascara and presto! ^.^ Hope you like it!

  • To clarify/improve, two shades that would work as the all over lid color are the ones in the top picture on the blog and on the furthest right.

  • That sounds great! Thanks :)

  • thanks for the review. I never heard of sleek. it looks like they have makeup for women of color which is important to me....thanks for revealing this company girlie! love your reviews.

  • I believe that was how the brand started out. They have the rich pigmentation needed for deeper skin tones.

  • @Sirvinya

One of the reasons I subscribed to you was the fact that I liked the richly coloured eyeshadow looks you produced from the Sleek palettes. As a woman of colour I was intrigued to see a white lady use the Sleek range. Of course the range is now marketed towards and appeals to all skintones.

By the way your eyeshadow in this video is totally gorgeous!!

  • Thank you! I'm so happy that you're enjoying my videos even though our skin tones are completely different :) If you have any Sleek requests then just let me know, a stand has appeared in my nearest Superdrug so I don't have to go to London for it now!

The eye shadow is from the purple UD Book of Shadows 2 tutorial.

  • @imsatindoll

Yes Sleek was orignally designed and marketed for women of colour. I recall using some of their products many years ago, but was not overly impressed at the time. However the company relaunched its range and i can honestly say that the products are fantstic. They are highly pigmented, which is totally needed for women of colour. My friends who use eyeshadows from Iman or Fashion Fair are always amazed at my sleek eyeshadow. Would highly recommend their palettes.
