  • Clint is awesome, I just wish I could find out what vitamins he takes. I want that kind of energy.

  • Oh, and I DO keep the gun holstered while in the car, but also keep a piece in the center console full time anyway so that any holster fumbling or seat belt issues don't come into play. A good alternative to this might be a paddle-style holser that allows moving the gun in its holster to forward of the outside hip. This makes for a crossdraw if you're a right-handed shooter and driving, gets the gun out of the way of the seat belt, and keeps the gun holstered while moving it for added safety.

  • Just to weigh in on the carry methodology going on here. I'm a CHP/pistol instructor and while there is nothing really wrong with carrying with a round in the chamber or not (or not carrying at all; hey what's liberty without choice), it's perfectly safe and better prepared to carry with a chambered round provided the gun is holstered properly. I would never allow an 8 year old to mess with my holstered handgun in the first place. That's a responsibility propblem, not a mechanical safety problem

  • HS-PRODUKT MADE IN CROATIA THE BEST GUN

  • I have both Glock`s and XD`s

Glock is a decent gun but XD is the better gun

  • Springfield XD(HS 2000) Made in Croatia <3

  • does anyone know what gun is the safest to shoot at someone for self defense like to get someone off you but not kill them like da bullet wud go in about an inch or whatever wud a 22 peltek do that please help

  • @stonepown .22 would be a bad choice, does not have any stoping power and is high velocity. Deterrent weapons are measured by their stopping/knockdown power. If you are worried about lethal magnitude then consider 9mm shockrounds. Rubber bullets with electrical shock stimulant.

  • I use an xd9 subcompact as my conceal carry. Would not use a thumb safety ontop of a duel trigger, and grip safety. Just way too much in the event that you have to actually draw it under distress. I keep the chamber clear and a full 10 round mag inside a paddle holster. In the event I simply rack the slide with my idle left hand while bringing it up. Until then the chamber is clear and the striker fire sear isnt cocked so it's safer than a mechanical safety that can easily be toggled on accident

  • @naireland

Hope your left hand is always free and never needs to be used to block a blow or pull a loved one to safety....

An unprepared gun is as good as a paperweight in many instances....I suggest you learn to feel comfortable carrying with a round in the pipe.

  • @enochroot43 Absolutely, not about ready to fire one handed. draw to right, idle hand racks gun in ready position and forms the knuckle over grip. One smooth continuous motion. No extra time required since its instinctive. Israel keep their arms unloaded until the moment of action. Keeps the weapon safer and helps to prevent anyone not trained to do so from simply picking it up and pulling the trigger. Keeping the weapon loaded at all times just isnt necessary.

  • @naireland

What if your "idle hand" is incapacitated? Being held?

There are a thousand scenarios. And, the best way to keep untrained people from "just picking it up and pulling the trigger" is to always maintain control over your loaded weapon.

I carry a handgun every day, loaded and ready to go. It is always with me, or a few feet away but under my exclusive control. Most people who carry a handgun carry with a round in the chamber. You can easily be fatally wounded your way.

  • @naireland No guarantee that you'll have both hands free when you need your gun.

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR If you don't have both hands and a gap between then I gun wouldnt be much use in general. In that event my holster has a pentagon knife in the sheathe. Unloaded chamber for everyday carry is more practical in the event that you are disarmed for any reason.

  • @naireland If there is a risk of you getting disarmed, you don't get what concealed means. Carry smarter if getting disarmed is a problem in your mind. Use a quality holster too. I carry chambered and it's never been a problem but guess what, I'm smart about it.

  • @naireland Comment continued: I can also send you a video of someone that didn't have both arms availble and having a round in the chamber saved him. One arm was holding himself in his car as two people were trying to drag him out while punching him and his free arm grabbed his Glock 36 and he then shot on of the attackers twice in the chest and drove off.

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR When you are in a vehicle you don't holster a gun anyway, first rule of CCW, Keep the pistol in a center console or glove box so i'm afraid that argument is void. As for videos I can show you 3 events where a someone was disabled by multiple opponents and quickly shot with their own weapon and robbed, versus one who case where a man was attacked from behind reached for his gun, assailant took it and attempted to shoot the victim but was unable to fire due to the gun not loaded

  • @naireland I can show you more than 3 cases where having a chambered round saved the day, do you want to go there? When I'm in the vehicle, I keep it holstered. Cops do it, most people that carry do it, I don't know what reason you wouldn't want the gun holstered when your in a car. What kind of offical training do you even have? You sound like a novice.

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR Seatbelt son, seatbelt. Thats why they teach you in CCW training to not holster a weapon while driving as it is harder to deploy under diress with a seatbelt covering it. As for official training I have been a CCW for 4 years, had one incident requiring a draw. Taken 2 classes, advanced pistol training, and pistol draw and speed techniques. I have an AR15, XD9, M2 that I compete with in 3 gun shoot.

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR as for one in the chamber without a mechanical safety it is how my former neighbor was shot. while using leather holster an 8 year old pulled the weapon out trigger first. Shot to the upper thigh with a golddot. I have mastered the ability to rack a round in a matter of miliseconds to the point where it is instinctive. For practicality and safety it is what I choose. If you want to have one in the pipe go for it, couldn't care less. I want to be proficient in all extremes.

  • @naireland Weird, I've never heard anyone ever teach you to unholster your weapon. Must be why cops always do that, oh wait, they don't! Glad you can see the future that you'll always have both arms availible to rack a round into the chamber. Also, an 8 year old pulling the gun out is not a chambered round. It's having a unconcealed gun without having any retention. I will stick to official training that both experts and professionals use and that is keeping a round in the chamber.

  • how can i have a punisher logo on my xd 4inch?

  • Springfield developed this gun for US military trials - it was required to have an external safety. The military didn't buy the gun so now SA is marketing the pistols for those American "nervous nellies" who feel they must have something for their thumb to play with. lol!!

  • @Bobsonomatic i see you claim it is american designed pistol, well you are wrong,. i work in HS produkt factory in Karlovac and i was among the team of the people who tested it. we signed contract in 2001. with your Spriengfield armory that supllies american army , police and fbi with weapons, and xd is original croatian design, only wearing springfield ''badge'' foramerican market, so i would adwise you to first read and inform, and then act smart

  • The gun you're holding already has two mechanical safeties, i.e., the trigger safety and the grip safety. I think you mean that your gun has a "selective" safety. :) Good video otherwise -- it was one of many research materials I pored over before buying a Springfield 45 XD.

  • That is not Springfield XD!!! That is HS2000!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Ubojica6661 You realize that those two names are used on the same gun right? HS2000 is the name used in Croatia and Springfield XD is the name used in the U.S. To say it's not one, it's the other makes no sense...

  • Funniest hand-gun ever.

  • what you sad on HS produkt pistols ?

  • @Speedemon69 There is not a more reliable, durable, and time tested auto than a Glock; not even a debatable topic. But then again, like all things, it's a matter of preference.

  • @kingkatak and also, a matter of do you want a shitty gun? Glocks may be time tested and not tgoo bad but when it comes down to the serious gun owners the glock is not a good choice. I prefer the good M1911 .45 ACP.

  • @jrjuggalo159 What you stated makes no logical sense what-so-ever.Are you saying the Glock is a shitty gun; you gotta be kidding me? More cops have been saved by their Glocks that 1911's.And what is a serious gun owner?I have an arsenal. But factually, why do you say the Glock is not a good choice? What tangible evidence is out there indicating that Glocks are not a good choice? Also, I have a coupleof 1911's in my arsenal.

  • Almost as good as a Glock...

  • @kingkatak lmao yea right.....just as good if not better, especially since glock gen 4's are having problems ;)

  • I dont understand why you would need a safety on a weapon. Unless you had dumbass kids running around your house or something. But in that case youd have it hidden, right?

  • Why do some people get bent over the Springfield being made in Croatia? I have an XDM and it is a wonderful piece of design and engineering. I don't see the need for the thumb safety since it already has a trigger safety and grip safety. Just one more thing to forget.

  • You can order the XDM slide release from Springfield and have it installed on the XD and it's great!

  • I agree I love my thumb safety on my 92fs but I got my XD-45 without it. In a life or death situation you need to be able to pull and shoot not forget to turn off the safety then boom your shot. The only way the xd goes off is if your griping it and pull the trigger. If you follow basic rules you will be fine

  • I owned a 1911 and actually did not like the thumb safety at all. On a Beretta92 I had the thumb safety was great a lot easier to use and can function as a decocker. I really like the grip safety on the XD though the trigger safety seems like a joke to me. I don't rely on a safety anyway always assume the gun is loaded and no problems. Getting my new XD-45 soon!

  • I have 2 Croatian XD-s.I shot a shitload of rounds and they are almost good as new.Fucking love tham.

  • discusses the new Springfield Armory XD pistol????!!!

gun is developed and manufactured in Croatia

  • also some states like Massachusetts requires a mechanical safety to be sold here...good vid

  • To those who say that the XD is just a copy of another companies [glock] design, you have not held or shot one. They could not be more different. I'll mention just a few; natural point and shoot ergonomics, accuracy, loaded chamber indicator, cocked indicator, and not to mention that the take down is different as well. Just because you might think it looks like a Glock, its not, its better.

  • @TexasWatch223 you forget to mention grip safety, like 1911 have...and that person in video say that people in springfield armory are not dumb, and put that and that....my comment is ...they did not put anything in it,simply they are just licensed importers in USA...gun is designed and made by factory IM produkt here in Croatia...sorry folks, not made in USA...

  • Safety? Why would you ever need a safety?? Jeeeez

  • Looks like springfield actually did something other than rebadge another company's pistol for once.

  • safety shouldn't matter. Don't point the gun at something do dont intend to shoot.

  • The guy talks like an auctioneer.

  • What's up with the weird trigger on XD's? Does the trigger safety actually make it safer?

  • @FoodCubes seems to

  • Proud Croatian product!

  • i like Clint Smith, his like a 50-60yr old with ADD hahaha

  • i think that this version is intended for US Army, cause they required thumb safety

  • @KYLEZ0R09 "I never use a safety. I think it makes people too relaxed thinking it won't go off."

    With ya on that one!

  • I look at it this way. Anything that makes a gun safer, can't be a bad thing.

  • @ryotaryuu it doesn't make it safer necessarily, it makes it more complicated for the shooter and in a life and death high adrenaline situation people have forgotten to disengage the safety. Good holsters shroud the trigger and keep the gun safe til you are ready to draw and fire.

  • I own 12 guns. Glocks, Sigs, Berettas, and now 2 XDs and an XD(M) .40. The XD(M) is my favorite, by far. Looking forward to picking up the XD(M) .45 soon.

  • @sndudley its 100% US made right, the XD??

  • @grandamracer23 no, it's made in croatia

  • @grandamracer23 NOT!

  • I am caught between the XDM 3.8 in 9mm and the Glock 17.

I am leaning toward the Glock as it is time proven reliability, but I prefer the grip of the XDM. The external safety is a non issue for me.

  • which is better mk23 or xd?

  • @ImanChannel wich is better, a XD or a rocket launcher?

  • It s a Croatian gun made in croatian town Karlovac in HS factory, year 2000 . It s a pistol of the year 2002., and the licence buy Springfield armory, USA. XD is the shorcut of the meaning that the pistol is for the offical purposes and it s durable for extreme conditions. Excellent gun btw

  • an external mechanical safety could save you life if the weapon is ever taken from you. I wish my issue M23 Glock had one!

  • this gun is hideous

  • @benefitx looks better than a glock and shoots just as well if not better. but the glock has the time tested reputation. i guess time will tell for the xd and xdm's

  • I own the service model with the rear mechanical thumb safety. I use this as my edc weapon,. The thumb safety really isn't an issue for me, since my military background has taught me to use this like second nature. I could see how someone not used to this might not like this option, but for me it's no slower to draw and shoot then without the safety. Years of training with similar type weapons make the difference though.

  • @UncleBob556 you are right. no mater what you use...train train train. thanks for helping to make sure this stays the land of the free.

  • Yes the XD guns or as they are called in Europe HS 2000 are designed and manufactured in the city of Karlovac, Croatia by HS Produkt formerly known as IM Metal. Springfield Armory is only a Distributer for the USA market, they only have purchased a distributing license from HS Produkt. If u look at the gun it says made in Croatia, Karlovac right on it.

  • @SreckoRasic89 Yeah, it's Croatian piece of firearm. They had to change the name to XD though. Americans would never buy a gun named HS2000, besides, 90% of Americans believe that XD is a Springfield's gun.

  • @l3stat3 i do believe that the xdm45 is an actual springfield design. the 9mm and 40 xd and xdm con not exchange mags cause different manufacture. but the xdm and xd 45 have interchangeable mags

  • @shawnwade351 nope, 100% croatian HS produkt design. Check with someone in the military or police force.

  • @l3stat3 Or he can read his owners manual haha

  • @SreckoRasic89 i think the new xdm45 is a springfield design. the xd and xdm's cant trade mags except for the new xdm45. xdm45 can use the xd's mag

  • THIS IS HILARIOUS XD

  • Nice review. One piece of advice that you have probably heard before (I didn't take time to read all the comments)...

God forbid you ever have to use that gun in self defense against some criminal scum, a jury might take issue with the fact that you have The Punisher insignia on your gun's grips. After all, the Punisher is a sociopathic vigilante who's sole purpose in life is to hunt down and kill criminlas. Think about it. A Prosecuting attorney could twist that against you. - ex LEO

  • like a smart man once said "keep your booger hook off the bang switch and everythings gravy".....cant remember his name though

  • @SwoopdySwoop i think that is safe arms review or SAR said that

  • @SwoopdySwoop Hahahaha! thats funny. I'll start using that with my kids, but at the end add "or the excrement will strike the rotary oscillator"

  • @EyeinTeaJay me to one of these days

  • Springfield *Laughing emoticon* XDXDXD

  • The best 'Safety' is the one in your head!

  • @vegasslimjim Agreed. Of course some people are like Glocks if you want to make that similie. :)

  • I like the extra safety. It is an added moment if a perp gets a hold of your weapon in a fight. The time that it will take for him or her to realize that the safety is on can give you the advantage to use your back-up to save yourself.

  • My son and I both have an XD in 45 ACP without a safety. I don't feel a "safety" is needed on this type of firearm. I works great, shoots great, and operates very smoothly. We are very pleased with ours and would highly recommend this piece.

  • somebody tell me about the skulls on the grip are they painted on or stickers? those are badass somebody help me out

  • @handl042 theyre punisher skull that narrows it down.

  • I'm a lefty and I own the 4" barrel model, absolutely love the gun!

Only thing i'd change is incorporate what S&W M&P did and add an ambidextrous slide lock...

  • keep the booger hook off the bang switch until your ready to engage that is the perfect safety

  • MADE IN CROATIA.

  • its not american pistol its Croat ;)

  • @HrvatskiSlikopis

It's an American-designed pistol that's assembled in Croatia.

  • So what !!!! Do u think your Ford or Chevy is all American

  • I just bought a 45 with the extra safety. I like the have the option of the thumb safety. Remember you don't always have to use this safety because you have the regular safety. I like options.

  • My XD .45 4" has a thumb safety and I actually like it. It has bumbed into the seatbelt on occasion and set itself to fire while being carried and has happened a couple of other times too on snags. But I like it. It's not in the way, brings another level of safety and is easy to use.

  • Do you know what countrey made a "sprinkfield XD" (that actualy isn't sprinkfield XD)

  • @Ubojica6661 :))))) croatia

  • Damn this dude talks fast, lol

  • @MahaloMoFo to much coffee and B-12!

  • where/how did you get the punisher grip? have had a XD .40 for about 4 years and havent found one yet.

  • @screaminhemi thats what I wanted to know too..the more and more I look, I think it's painted on the handle it's self

  • wow they made a safety version?

  • good segment, no bullcrap, straight to the point

  • I think the best safety is my trigger finger - if you keep the booger hooker off the bang switch your good to go.

I wouldnt personally get one with a safety, but as you said it opens springfield up to more customers that do like a mechanical safety.

I really enjoy my XD & XDMs - over 7,000 rounds & no problems.

    thanks for posting.

    :)

  • jeez how many safeties do you need

  • Made in Croatia :-)

  • what's the little ridge thing on the back?

  • a safety

  • hahaaa- what about the trigger thing, same thing? (it's like a double trigger system)

so like what, in order to fully pull it, you have to first pull the first one?

  • @dlt215

haha- useless hit, kids better watch out, you can still pop yourself!

    XD

  • @Rudekilla32 yea it's worthless ,it dont make any sense to have it like that.

  • it's called a grip safety. you get them on colt 1911

  • this gun is originally from croatia and springfield is buying it and selling it to american army, F.B.I. and police...

original name for this gun is ( hrvatski samokres ) or HS2000!

    great gun it is...

  • i own an xd sub compact and i agree on the grip saftey being point less.whats the use either way you should keep your hands of the trigger when not firing. But the main point of putting a saftey is in case a kid or somebody that dont know how to use a gun get they hands on it or accident misfire.

  • safety eh? i kinda figured- so it's merely like an gotta pull that back in order to fully pull the trigger?

  • yeah its on the trigger too, worthless. You can hold the gun with out fully gripping the grip and it will still fire when you pull the trigger.

  • Are me and mcmurrich the only ones who want to know how they did the punisher logo on a polymer gun? Any help would be awesome!!

  • its vinyl if im not mistaken

  • If your finger is on the trigger there is no accidental discharge...there is only negligent discharge.

  • @metallica454 absolutely

  • A XD gun xD

  • I love my springfield Xd 40. Why it has a lifetime warranty and backed by a name that has been around for the longest time in America.

  • It would be one thing to complain about the mechanical safety if you seemingly had to have three hands to operate the gun. That's not the case with this one. If you can hold a gun properly then the mechanical safety isn't even noticeable. I guess that's the problem with the whiners: don't know how to hold a gun. Let me guess, you all "gangsta" and such holding your gun sideways. Yeah, stick with your tiddly winks.

  • You bunch of pissant whiners! STFU about too many safetys. Did you not listen to his explanation on the manuel safety? What the "F" does it matter if it has an additional safety? You dont have to use it or for that matter, you dont have to buy it! So quit whining about one too many safetys! WAH!

  • @stealthbeast Agreed.

  • grip safety pointless

  • he talks very fast, too fast for me to understand

  • xd is croatian pistol its best in world

  • I must disagree.....I personally believe there is no such thing as "too much safety"...Springfield did a great job with this 3rd safety because it is more of an "optional" safety trigger...meaning you don't have to have this safety switch no for it to be safe...overall great pistol for on duty carry....just wish they had more level III holsters

  • XDs are solid weapons, but for me the 3rd safety is too much.

  • What happens when you realize Glocks have three safeties glockfire? :P

    Yes yes, smart butt, sorry.

  • lol happy old guy

  • To RememberSobibor;

I'm sorry. I was on two different sites at once. I was have a senior moment and thought you were talking about 1911's.

    My apologies. You are correct.

  • I am a CZ guy but if I were going to carry anything but a CZ it would be a XD

  • I always used to want a manual thumb safety until I got a glock and that safety system is the best. Unless your an idiot that is all you should need anything else is just a bit much for me.

  • The XDs are great. I own the .40 cal and they are nice. Thinking about getting the xd9.

  • I don't like manual safties IMO they're made for range use only. my carry guns are all DA/SA and i carry them W/ the hammer down and the safety off.

  • Why would you carry with the hammer down? That is completely retarded.

  • Did you read the part of my post that said my carry guns are DA/SA? According to the manual they are DESIGNED to be carried W/ the hammer on the half cock notch. In the event that I ever need to use one of these weapons (CZ75B/CZ2075 RAMI) all I have to do is draw, aim and fire. I dont have to worry about taking off the safety. Its no different than carrying a DA revolver. A manual safety is just one more opportunity for Murphy to raise his ugly head.

  • I may be wrong, but I think the thumb safety on a 1911 is for resting your thumb on while you shoot so basically you have to disengage it to grip it properly so I don't mind either love em both lol.

  • We really weren't discussing 1911s

I would never carry a 1911 because I only use DA/SA pistols for carry. I own one and I like it I'd just never carry it

  • Box of frickin razorblades...teehee

  • i disagree. there is no such thing as a safe person. guns dont shoot them self. it takes an ignorant person to creat an unsafe enviornment with a gun. the springfield xd is a very safe and reliable gun.

  • ha some guns do shoot by themselves, ever heard of slam fires?

  • dude even then someone would of had to pull the trigger before that can happen

  • @alunaticbastard ive watched a shotgun fire itself, Old man who kept it infront of his house never cleaned it nore took care of it in the decades he owned it.. the hammer slipped and the shell went off... So dont give that arguement, but agreed the springfield xd is a wonderful little handgun

  • @FerrilEwok how did the hammer slip? Did someone directly, or indirectly touch the shotgun?

  • @td84 Small piece broke with corrosion, and with what I was saying before, old revolvers used to be recommended to use 5 instead of 6 rounds so the weapon wouldnt fired when dropped, not all times the weapon fires is with a finger on the trigger saddly,

  • @FerrilEwok again this only backs up my original statement. a person failed to maintain his weapon creating an unsafe environment. what kind of person owns a gun and doesnt even clean it for a couple decades. ill tell you what kind. an ignorant one. never mind the fact that the weapon was obviously neglected. whos to say it would even work when he needed it?

  • @alunaticbastard he was acrazy man not an ignorant one, he wasnt the same after korea according to his brother. I never learned his name but everyone called him jimmy, he was a marine

  • @alunaticbastard Agree 100%

  • guns are inanimate objects incapable of being safe or unsafe.

    ;)

  • I have a safe full of them

  • I traded up to a XD45 from a Taurus 1911 after some feed issues. It is awsome 14 rounds of 45 ACP. I also have a custom Glock 33 for ccw. Almost got a G21, but liked the feel of the XD, plus it was a used package gun for $425 ( I got 400 for the 1911) so I paid around $58.00

  • I sold (traded) my Glock 22 for my secound XD 40. I just love the way fits in your hand. It is completely level and just natural feeling. They are both a pleasure to shoot.

  • Hey Buff, you're right, but Springfield XD didn't,IM Metal of Croatia

created its HS-2000 in the shadow of Glock,SF bought them out, jacked up the price and gave it a catchy name,if they keep jacking up the price, the market will cave in because they've yet to iron out the kinks like Glock has, and,as you say, just like we did years ago, they've yet to pass the test of time.I still like mine, sans the original finish

  • I own a HS-2000,the only difference I see is the lack of rail slots, colors and the SF logo.I'm guessing that Springfield is still making their XDs in Croatia,I own Glocks,Colts, ect.I've yet to have a problem with my Croat pistol, the finish is not as good as Glock but I think they've found a nich in the market.Hell,it's a tool with a proven mechanism.Springfield stole Mauser's idea and made it better, who knows, one day they may surpass Glock.I've seen stranger things happen

  • Buff,I remember when glocks came out,if you do,you'll remember the warm reception they got.The same thing was said about when glocks came out,1,000,000,000,000 rds of proven diehard reliabilty to go before you can even say your name in the same sentence as Colt.Sounds silly when you hear the same thing about a plastic pistol years latter

  • Oak, this is really my point exactly. Glock had to earn its reputation. I would not have been calling Glocks the most reliable pistols on the planet 20 years ago. They just dont have the time in market yet. But XD people have no hesitation with comparing themselves to Glock, even though they are infants in the market. The comparison is especially ridiculous becuase XD created itself in the shadow of Glock....

  • ...It's like the student saying he has surpassed the master after a few years of being trained by him.

  • Oh, my freeking god! Clint, it's exhausting listening to you! Calm down, man!!

  • in 2010 it will be the :P gun

  • XD, whats next, the colan d? :D

  • 3000 rounds and counting. No Jams on my .45ACP yet... as for Glock: "Sorry about that GAP thing. That was just a prank that went to far."

  • @ Buffalowdown,

Looks like I hit a nerve. Defensive much? BTW - (sic) why does Glock chamber in .45 ACP if GAP is so great? Why not just stand by your "Innovation?" I didn't say that I don't own a Glock, either. I just said my preference went to the Springfield XD when talking .45 ...Glock made themselves the laughingstock when they did the GAP. Have fun.

  • No you didnt hit a nerve. When ever somebody talks about there XD's reliability I chuckle inside. Comparing XD to Glock is funny.

XD's are for people who wanted to be different and couldnt bring themselves to buy the fantastic Glock pistol because its common. But in the back of their mind they are thinking, "Was trying to look original really worth buying this Glock knock off pistol?" The answer is no. Has your slide rusted yet?

  • And to answer question: Why did they chamber in .45 ACP? Probably because they wanted to nab ACP loyalists. They can say no to GAP, but they can't say no to Glock. Crazy how companies want to make money.

  • Could never get an XD because I'd have to get past Glocks first

  • i'm a glock user and my friend has a XD subcomoact .40. the main thing i noticed was the trigger reset on the XD wasn't anything, when it resets there is still trigger pull, when the glock resetes there is none, it goes from a double to a single action and i guess the XD stays in double
