Given that, there is no way Kosovo will ever again be part of Serbia unless the democratic majority of the nation decide to rejoin, or unless Serbia tries to annex the state. Given how quickly and easily Serbia surrendered last time they got in a war over Kosovo, that last seems unlikely.
