My questions are: Is the whole dance mapped out like a gymnastic routine?, is there notation like the benesh system for ballet? And- do all these movements have meaning like those in hawaii, or is it just presentation for allure?
the whole dance it goes wtih the music if da music is slow then u move ur body in a slow motions if it fasts then u move ur body fast so its all about da music and how u react to it there is no rules for belling dancing ihope i answered ur question
bellydancing is viewed to a lot of people as sexual which it is, when i dance for my boyfriend he goes nuts! even though im not egyptian, im lebanese/syrian, its almost the same, but u have 2 have that natural rhythm inside. i think bellydancing is one of the world most beautiful, sensual, and sexual dance. and when u see all these skinny chicks breaking themselves, im not saying all, original bellydancers were very curvy, wut shallow people call 2day chubby or fat.
This was great. But why did you wear shoes???? I think if you would have bellydance barefoot the movements would have been more fluid. BUT IT WAS GREAT OTHERWISE. I liked it. It was nice seeing someone more like myself performing :) Best wishes with your passion.
