This ball was released 2 years ago but I just got mine 2 weeks ago with a 5 x 4 drilling ( pin under fingers). The Rogue is amazing, it allows me to bowl the inside on fresh oil with good carry. I just needed to satisfy my curiousity being a Rotogrip believer, I had to try something from crown and sword line from before to present, though my favorite player is Patric Allen before Wes Mallot .
@TyRTi Ive been trying to find that out for months but i have a mcp and ive threw it on heavy and it is really really agressive but ill try others for that answer and ill let you know.
"it hits like a ton of bricks" is why you're an idiot. you obviously know nothing about bowling, because "hit" is a relative term. "hit" is a combination of RPMs combined with ball speed, as well as axis rotation, axis tilt, line/angle to the pocket and various other things.
any ball will "hit". my power groove with a pancake block and 2 pucks "hits", i shot 299 with it. hit has nothing to do with the ball. at all.
yea but you throw it like 12 mph. so as long as you "hit" pocket your gonna carry, if you throw it about 18 and with about 450 rpm like i do then id say that "hit" comes in handy, for instance i have a tropical storm which is pretty much a power groove but by storm, that ball hits hard no matter what for me, i could come light in the pocket and still carry, ive shot 300 with it on a burnt up shot, its got alot to do with the ball and the bowler's style so quit running your mouth on here
dude shut the fuck up, you've proven time and again that you know nothing about bowling and all you do is harass me on here. you must have a crush on me or something. i don't go that way, sorry to disappoint you. my ball speed is 17-18 mph and my rev rate is a 380-400. you know nothing.
ok so i was wron about your ball speed, big deal, and not to mention the reason why i comment on all your shit is cuz on these bowling videos, all you do is say how dumb people are cuz they voice there opinion about a ball, just by what they have witnessed, so you need to calm the fuck down about bowling on youtube, not to mention that you tell people the basics and you must feel like a bad ass talking shit over the internet when your a 23 year old hack, have a nice day
That's because most people don't remove the oil from the ball. Remove the oil every couple of months along with sanding or polishing and a ball will keep its original reaction.
I do not stike with just about very ball I throw it is only because it was a bad shot. This is the best ball I have ever bought bar none.Contollable monster hooking bad a** ball for sure. Kudos to Storm...
pulled from roto grips website you tool...Who makes Roto Grip Bowling Balls?
Roto Grip products are manufactured at Storm Products, Inc. in Brigham City, UT. Roto Grip was purchased by Storm in 1997 and since then all balls have been made in Utah. Roto Grip designs their own cores and covers to be unique and not similar to Storm balls. Although you should see some similarities in our products because they are made on the same manufacturing lines.
dude my rogue cell outhooks any ball ive ever thrown. and it hits harder than any ball ive thrown too! its simply amazing and i would recommend this ball to anybody!
it doesnt look like it hits very hard with the layouts ruocco and halstrom used. If they didn't have that strong rotation, the ball would of left a lot of weak pins. The layout congdon used looked like it works for him though.
im guessing that John is using this ball now for his main. John doesnt throw many revs, but this ball turns the corner for him more so than anything I've seen him throw. Notice how well its traveling out of the back of the pin deck with near zero deflection. This ball should be another Roto-Grip winner. RG has definitly stepped their game up these days and are producing some of the most exciting balls to ever see the lanes. Keep up the great work and thanks for the great vids!!!
I'm looking for more length when the lanes dry up. Would you recommend the Cell Pearl or the Rogue Cell as a complement to my Cell? Because from this video, it looks like the Rogue Cell moves like the Pearl, but without the sharp snap at the end.
As a staff member, I can honestly tell you that I've been looking forward to this release for a while. It is much stronger and smoother than you would think for a hybrid. Mine is about 4 and 2 stronger than my strongest drilled Cell on most conditions. Really smooth and continuous. You won't be disappointed by this ball when it comes out.
Actually, the Rogue Cell has a new, stronger version of the "Cytoplasmic" coverstock, so it should give you a different reaction than the two overseas hybrid Cells.
VG kills this ball.

@Keithfung3g I'd say more aggressive than the Mission, less aggressive than the VG.

is this ball more aggressive than the virtual gravity or ebonite mission?

yoshiharu26 2 years ago
its usually better to put it in the back, putting it in the front would increase ur span, its up to the bowler and wat he/she is comfortable with

what kind of cover does it have because the original was a reactive dull and the pearl was well a pearl.

Hybrid pearl/solid coverstock. It is similar to the Strike Cell which was an international release.

Doenst react any diff than a cell pearl. I wont buy it.
TheCloser1980 2 years ago
It reacts nothing like the Cell Pearl. It rolls much quicker and is far smoother off the spot.
For the fella looking for a drier lane ball, you don't want a Rogue. The Cell Pearl gets A LOT more length. A LOT.

not the other way around
thats whats nice about the CELL series, it fits bowlers...not bowlers fitting to their balls.
