Thanks for the video, i saw roger in cleveland about a week after chicago. absolutly amazing concert. sooooo much to see and hear. if roger comes to your town , this is a must see concert. worth any price!
got to see him with my stepdad in melbourne. this show, this man and this show, blew my friggen mind! to the point where i almost cried. I don't think any show i will see will ever top this. It has been my dream to see The Wall, and my stepdad informed me having seen Pink Floyd many years ago, this show was almost like stepping back 30 years to his young years again, reliving the music that he loved. kudos to Roger and the fantastic band for this amazing experience
when The Wall was first released, Roger sounded like he was 20 years old. he was 36. now when Roger sings this, he sounds 40. he was 67. his voice is pure magic.
Respect to Roger Waters & whole Pink Floyd accessiries for giving the world this Greatfull & 4 alltime,period,generations.. songs...Thank u Guys, may god bless u and hoping u'll give us Concerts a years more to follow...Respect !
The visual, EXELLENT, The audio, leaves A LOT to be desired, Roger Waters, GENIUS, SORRY Mr. Waters but this show falls terribly short of the first run of this tour back in the 80's. On the first tour you hand picked the performers as if the songs were written for them from the start. The energy level here is very, well, tired. No Snowy White, No Doyle Brahmall II. I wasn't aware of the tour back during the 80's, so I missed out. I'll be saving my money this round, LOVE ROGERS MUSIC !!!
Fucking brilliant! The Wall seems to have as much, if not more social relevance today as it did three decades ago. I wonder, what other single work of art can claim that.
@jddrock A Clockwork Orange and it's got The Wall beat by a decade ;) and The Wall came out 79'..that's 4 decades ago,Iggy Pop's album The Idiot.....The Wall is THE, THE epitome of a concept album....It's a fairly simple Psychology example though....but in all honesty...I am a huge fan of Pink Floyd don't get me wrong they're pioneers of Psychedelic Rock which I have a particular fancy too and Syd Barett is a rock god to me just as Morrison and Iggy are.
@jddrock But I still have to say the number one concept album of all time is King Diamond's Abigail, even if you aren't a fan of metal or his extremely high pitched vocals you have to respect the story and the sheer horror that is written within it, it's absolutely wild.
he can cry all he wants about those dead fucking muslims, but in the end, those same muslims would kill him for every reason you can imagine, and all in the name of "the Religion of Peace".
You should see the emails I get from people all over the world telling me about how Pislam is destroying everything they knew and loved
Don't be fooled, or else your country will bow to Pislam, just like England.
Nice homage you pay, Roger,I bet he doesn't go near those muslim hoods.
I had goosebumps throughout the whole show when I saw him Boston. I hope to see him in Boston again in the summer, than that would make it a 3rd time I get to see him live.
I was at the September 23rd show at the same venue, drove down from Milwaukee, and the plane crash did happen. It was explained later that there was a malfunction with the plane at the September 20th show. That was the first of four shows in Chicago and glitches do happen every now and then. Plane, or no plane, this was a great show. I've been to more than 350 concerts in my lifetime, and this one zoomed to my top five.....with a bullet.
Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the snide remarks. Nothing personal. I was wondering that about the plane. That makes sense. I was in the Tacoma Dome and that is a large venue. It was so bitchin watchin that plane crash into the wall. It was the best concert i have ever seen and i have seen well over a 100 live shows in the last 15 yrs alone. I told my buddy when we left that we will never ever see another concert with the video displays this one had. NEVER! Once in a lifetime show. Rock On!
@gilmourguitar123 One big reason why i dont video concerts is because i go there to watch the concert. I have videoed many times but catch myself being to concerned about videoing instead of watching the show. I did that last week at the Lindsey Buckingham concert. I was leaning up against the stage. Lindsey was 3 feet from me. I got killer video but it felt like i missed the real show. I thought i mentioned in my second post that it was outstanding? Dont you understand the word outstanding?
The plane never went. It sat up in the corner the whole time. Not camer-person's fault. Enjoyed bringing our daughter to her first concert....it was a great show sans the plane.
hey dont get me wrong this is outstanding and i thank you from the bottom of my heart for uploading this but no plane? What a shame because the Tacoma Dome show is on youtube with the plane but the quality is nothing near this one. I hope like hell they release the DVD. If not i love this one anyway. no hard feelings about the shitty camera work. I thank you for sharing.
Where is the airplane crashing into the wall? That was a huge part of the show in Tacoma. WTF did they not do that at all the venues? or was this just shitty camera work? I cannot believe the camera man left that out. It was a huge prop. It came down from the ceiling at the Tacoma Dome. I bet the plane was at least 20 feet long.
You did a great job filming this!!
