Spock looks like he's choking back tears. Being a Vulcan, he must have been so humiliated, even more so than Kirk, Uhura, and Chapel when they were being tortured. I think that's why Uhura and Chapel are so upset, because they feel terrible for what he's going through. It's so sad. :( That said, Spock has a sultry voice. It would be great if there had been an episode in which he sang on the Enterprise while playing his Vulcan harp.
