It was truly hard to watch Big Nog be finished by Cain Velasquez. I thought this man could never be knocked out. He is one of my favorite fighters and will forever be one of the toughest to ever have fought in this sport.
Big Nog is the most determined and hard working MMA fighter to have ever stepped in to the ring and octagon. He's only lost 6 times and against some of the greatest fighters in the sport. He lost to Fedor twice in very hard fought decisions, Henderson by decision, Mir by TKO, Valasquez by KO, and a split decision loss to Josh Barnett.
These losses are shadowed by his 32 wins and his iron will. He'll always be a legend in my eyes and one of my favorite fighters of all time.
