It would be pretty dumb if BOTH players just rushed without blocking.Keep away or what some people call spamming is just another way to play. The only difference is your playing on a different skill level. Its good you turned in your game if you werent happy though so good job.

The way the Zero combo was done, as soon as he landed the Light attack, he kept it held down. Once he launched them and used two Medium attacks, the buster was charged to Level 3.

You always have X-Factor. You can activate it anytime during the match but it lasts longer depending on how many characters you have alive. It's best to save it until the end of the fight when your down to your last character because it lasts for 30 seconds.
@grimmlock808 It's a one time use thing, you press all three attack buttons to use it. It cancels any move instantly and powers your character up depending on how many characters are left on your team.

@Kuya1991 IIRC MvC3 has prorates hitstun after a certain number of hits, so the longer the combo, the shorter the hitstun is which prevents infinites. I may be wrong, but I'm sure I read that somewhere.
No its not. Doom eventually gets pushed too far away to continue it to their death, even with a hyper combo. From what I've heard, its also impratical as hell.

@MrNick2D Well magneto and storm still look pretty good, Ammy reminds me of Strider, Dante is good, and has a ton of moves, but cheap combos, Wesker has some mad fast teleportation, Dormammu is kinda like blackheart, chun-li has awesome air games, and MODOK and Trish have some great keep-away games, trish has traps, and modok can litter the screen with projectiles and traps, and can combo into them! I love all the variety!

@KevinRBravo um no, SF4 had nothing to do with the possibility of MvC3. Capcom has even said it for themselves, they are separate teams and they could of easily created a different fighting game like Darkstalkers 4 or something else but they chose MvC3 since it's been 10 years and from fan requests for the longest time now.

@DarkDreamT2 It all depends honestly, Are they the only ones you used or did you experiment and play different characters? Do you have a just for fun team to just BS around and to have some fun or are you only concerned about winning?
Over the course of me playing, I jumped between characters, but Jill was always a fav of mine. If I ever BS around, I just pick a random team that I have no experience with, but I try and win with that team regardless.
Think of it like playing chess, the fun IS playing to win. No one who really plays chess enjoys a chess match that just involves two people doing random moves. They want the other to go all out, so they can go all out themselves. Anything less just hinders the fun
@DarkDreamT2 I will agree with you yes that there is a different kind of fun to be found in playing to win but at the same time I just feel like alot of good cool characters get overlooked because they are not "Top Tier". In MVC2 I very rarely saw people mix it up hell when I would go to an fighting game competitions I just started refusing to even fight the dudes it just wasn't fun anymore. I'm the kinda guy that likes variety and MVC2 just stopped giving me that. Its not its fault though
i think some people have a hard time understanding that people werent just tier whoring, some people just like playing the characters with the most options.
granted, some of the lower tier characters were capable of much more then people thought, just because they were never really experimented with, and a lot of bad people tier whore when there too shitty for it to be at the deeper level were those characters are fun
but for example, i liked strider because he was flexible

To be honest Tourney dudes really ruined that game for me. However now we live in a day of patches and fixes for games so hopefully it won't be as much of a problem anymore.

@ReaverKun Well there hasent been any really good footage of her uses with the x-facter(other than added normal combo and super combo damage when alredy active) Dante X-23 and Zero have displayed combo resets with added damage from the x-facter so its possible she has a combo reset too seeing as how in most vids she can combo and get in really fast and easly (n the right hands of course).

@KevinRBravo um no, SF4 had nothing to do with the possibility of MvC3. Capcom has even said it for themselves, they are separate teams and they could of easily created a different fighting game like Darkstalkers 4 or something else but they chose MvC3 since it's been 10 years and from fan requests for the longest time now.

Over the course of me playing, I jumped between characters, but Jill was always a fav of mine. If I ever BS around, I just pick a random team that I have no experience with, but I try and win with that team regardless.
Think of it like playing chess, the fun IS playing to win. No one who really plays chess enjoys a chess match that just involves two people doing random moves. They want the other to go all out, so they can go all out themselves. Anything less just hinders the fun

@DarkDreamT2 I will agree with you yes that there is a different kind of fun to be found in playing to win but at the same time I just feel like alot of good cool characters get overlooked because they are not "Top Tier". In MVC2 I very rarely saw people mix it up hell when I would go to an fighting game competitions I just started refusing to even fight the dudes it just wasn't fun anymore. I'm the kinda guy that likes variety and MVC2 just stopped giving me that. Its not its fault though

i think some people have a hard time understanding that people werent just tier whoring, some people just like playing the characters with the most options.
granted, some of the lower tier characters were capable of much more then people thought, just because they were never really experimented with, and a lot of bad people tier whore when there too shitty for it to be at the deeper level were those characters are fun
but for example, i liked strider because he was flexible

@roarmonsterful That was the problem no one was willing to even experiment it was all just Magneto, Storm, Sentinal oh and Cable as well and god it was just getting so boring.... To be honest Tourney dudes really ruined that game for me. However now we live in a day of patches and fixes for games so hopefully it won't be as much of a problem anymore.

@TheWolfdude87 the game didn't get boring because of those characters you suck with them and got your ass kick by them. skillz was need to play with those characters in mvc2. mvc2 non top tier characters where fun to play with to. know picked them in a tournament play because its not time to have fun when in a tournament. its about winning. mvc3,simple to pick up and play lame. bet you will have fun now. tournaments were better because of mvc2. tournaments will be boring and die because mvc3.

@ReaverKun Well there hasent been any really good footage of her uses with the x-facter(other than added normal combo and super combo damage when alredy active) Dante X-23 and Zero have displayed combo resets with added damage from the x-facter so its possible she has a combo reset too seeing as how in most vids she can combo and get in really fast and easly (n the right hands of course).

@MALDASF capcom a good fighting came game company but i don't it should be called the greastest. don't get me wrong they have a lot of good ideas but other companies can compete with it. i'm a capcom fan to but there games are'nt perfect only fighting games they have going for themselves is SF and the vs series. sooner or later capcom will get knocked of their throne

@Nvoy123 yeah sorry about that. don't get me wrong capcom makes good games but to me street fighter 4 is SF 2 with ex moves, focus attacks and another special meter. when street fighter goes fully 3D then the series has truly made a jump. blazblue is pretty good game wtih a diverse cast, awesome story, and cool characters but overshadowed by SF. just my opinion
