I wonder how many of these people who claim to want something like a .300 Win Mag have actually SHOT a .300 Win Mag. Unless it is a heavy rifle or has a muzzle break, a .300 WM isn't that pleasant to shoot repeatedly. At least the Savage one I shot wasn't. After a while you say hell with this. lol

Funny stuff. After having my wife try the AK, the AR, a 9mm carbine, etc... She is now the proud expert shooter of a Ruger 10/22. Laugh all you want, but she can load it, shoot a soda can at 50 yards and unload a 25 round mag. in about 15 seconds on target at 50 feet. I would not want to be on the receiving end of her 10/22.
In SHTF a person over 1000 will most likly no be a treat. Hell its about survival not combat, if there 1000 yards away and i can get away i will. But i will sit up a ambuse later to see if the fucker is following me, and engage on my terms.

@suprdav403 I hate to say it, but if such a situation were to happen those kind of people are among the people whom will be cleansed and purged from society. It's a terrible and harsh thing and no one wants to see it happen (me included) but it's something that probably needs to happen.
Only the strongest and intelligent will survive.
